“THE HELL IRAIS ON?” - Love is Blind Mexico fans call out the cast member for rejecting Rene

Love is Blind Mexico season 1 added to the array of international Love is Blind seasons that adorn Netflix's library of dating reality shows. Some of the popular versions among these are the Swedish, Japanese, and Brazilian.

Love is Blind Mexico released its first four episodes on August 1, which saw some of its 30 total contestants getting to know each other. One such contestant was Irais. She first bonded with Fernando, but when he let her go for Karen, she chose to turn to Rene.

Their conversations from the pod culminated in them getting engaged. However, when the time came for them to see each other in person, Rene didn't match Irais' physical expectations, which caused her to reject him.

Fans took to X to say how good they thought Rene looked and called Irais out for not accepting him. One fan said:

"I told y'all Iraís was UNserious.I'll check the hashtag later to see if people are keeping it real about why she didn't want to proceed with Rene after the reveal". one tweet said.

Many Love is Blind Mexico fans also criticized Irais for moving to Rene only after Fernando rejected her. She thought she was going to marry Fernando, but when he left her for Karen, she pivoted her attention to Rene, only to reject him for his appearance. Referring to this, one fan said:

"René is soooooo hawt. Idk about Iraís for him though. Homegirl wants Fernando, let’s be honest".

"Irais was all for Fernando and when he ditched her, she turned around to the other guy. I don't like when they do that. It's fine when they hesitate but she was not talking about the other guy at all. Even stopped talking to him for 2 days. Weird," another user wrote.

"So Irais was willing to just marry anybody?" said one fan.

"Iraís was about to break down and beg this man to pick her when she already knew he was engaged to someone else. The minute he said no he's sure and doesn't want to be with her, she asked him about another man in the house," said another.

What exactly did Irais have to say about Rene after she met him on Love is Blind Mexico?

The Love is Blind Mexico connection between Rene and Irais was palpable when they were talking from the pods. It didn't take much time for Rene to ask her if she wanted to marry him, in episode 3. Overjoyed, Irais said yes, following which was the time for their big reveal.

Rene loved how Irais looked and the medical doctor repeatedly complimented her. However, Irais didn't look so certain about her new partner's appearance and took to a confessional to express her thoughts after she was done meeting him.

She said he had piercings she didn't like. She added that he gave the "party stereotype" vibes she wasn't very fond of. She said that he looked like a "drunk". She also said that if she met him outside of the show, she would have nothing to do with him and that she felt like he was the type of person who would make her need therapy.

The narrator in her confessional mentioned they would have to leave the show since she rejected him. However, she was seen wearing a wedding dress in the show's preview, which has made fans think she changed her mind about him.
