The Influencer is set to release on Netflix on August 6, 2024. It is an ultimate social survival reality game show featuring 77 of Korea's most popular influencers. Their combined net marketing value stands at 400 billion won. These influencers will enter the show to compete against each other and prove their worth to the world.

Recently, Netflix released a trailer for the upcoming show, which gave a glimpse of what’s to come. Fans eagerly waiting for the show’s release, which will be on August 6, 2024, can explore more details after the release.


1. A lot at stake

The trailer opens with the narrator explaining how the show will feature various influencers from different fields. Each of them has been earning staggering amounts through their social media and other means. Hence, while the influencers participate in the show, a lot will be at stake, including their followers, worth, amounts they have been earning from various brands, and more.

Among many contestants, the trailer revealed Juice Seyeon, who has 150,000 followers. She shared that her total earnings are about 3.0 billion won. The audience couldn't believe it at first. One more influencer, Sia_Jiwoo, shared that she had 27 million followers.

Someone from the audience yelled-

"Half of Korea’s population."

Additionally, in some scenes throughout the trailer, influencers are featured wearing a display band on their necks, which shows their current followers.

When the trailer featured various influencers, they were divided into different categories. Firstly, there were influencers from YouTube, then Instagram, and later, influencers from AfreecaTV and TikTok were introduced.

From YouTube, RISABAE has 2.25 million followers, PANIBOTTLE has 1.97 million followers, JIN YONG-JIN has 2.69 million followers, and SHIM EU-DDEUM has 1.6 million followers.

From Instagram: Influencers, including HEO SEONG-BEOM, with 300,000 followers; KI EUN-SE, with 770,00 followers; and JANG KEUN-SUK, with 620,000 followers, were introduced.

From AfreecaTV, there was JUICESEYEON with 150,000 followers. SIA _JIWOO, with 27.5 million followers from TikTok, was also introduced in the trailer.

The trailer also showed how there will be extreme and next-level tasks and challenges on the upcoming show, The Influencer. The narrator revealed-

The trailer ended with a few of the influencers performing various tasks. It included various rooms for different tasks, a room filled with money, wet paint was being thrown in one of the rooms, also one of the influencers could be seen on the stage stating-

Another influencer looked like he was consuming excessive food, especially red chili powder. A female influencer was seen smashing a plate of edibles and applying white paint to her face. Someone was seen shaving eyebrows while another influencer was dancing in a room in front of the camera.
