The Kardashians season 5— Kylie and Jordyn’s friendship discussed

The Kardashians season 5 aired a brand new episode this week on Thursday, May 30, 2024. During the segment, fans saw the Kardashian-Jenner clan live their respective lives while providing the audience with insights about what had been happening since they were last seen on the Hulu show.

In the latest segment, Kylie Jenner visited her elder sister Khloé's house, where they two discussed Kylie's trip to Paris. The Kylie Cosmetics founder told Khloé that she saw Jordyn while she was in Paris and that it was fun.

"I think we have, like, a lot more, like, healthy distance in the relationship. Now it's like, we talk once a month."

Kylie and Jordyn met in 2012 and had been best friends since. However, in 2019, they had a public falling out when the latter allegedly got intimate with Khloé Kardashian's then-partner, Tristan Thompson. In July 2023, the two were seen together for the first time since the scandal.

The Kardashians season 5: Khloé doesn't want Kylie to have "regrets in life"

In The Kardashians season 5 episode 2, titled, Get it Together, Kylie opened up about her friendship with Jordyn Woods with Khloé Kardashian. The Kylie Cosmetics founder told her elder sister that she was glad that the "narrative" about her and Woods online was over.

She added that when they were seen leaving a restaurant together in 2023, it was the hot topic for a day or two and then it was "over." Kylie added that people knew that they were "cool" and that nobody was "talking about it anymore."

In response, Khloé told her younger sister she had told her before that she didn't want her to have "regrets in life."

"I, for sure, never want you to have regrets with anything that comes to me. And I've told you, like, when you were saying that you miss her and whatever, and I've never had an issue with you keeping your friendships with anyone. That's not my job in life."

The Kardashians season 5 star Kylie told the cameras that she was happy to have had the conversation with Khloé. She added that she didn't think people understood how "pure Khloé's heart" was.

Kylie noted that even right after the cheating scandal involving her best friend Jordyn and Tristan, "her energy" towards Kylie was always the same.

Kylie recalled Khloé telling her to do "whatever" made her happy. Her sister further told her that nothing was more important to her than Kylie and her happiness. Jenner added that Khloé was "special" and she wished more people knew that about her.

In The Kardashians season 5 episode 2, Khloé said that she often got frustrated about the narrative about Jordyn and other members of the family. Kylie called it an "internet creative narrative" that didn't exist. Khloé noted that she would love for the family to be over the narrative.

"They're always pinning the girls against one another. And there's actually no beef. I hate that you have to choose Team Jordyn or Team Kylie. And we're not like that. Like, 'cause we're just living, we're not, like, thinking that hard about the situation anymore." Khloé said in a confessional.

The Good American founder told Kylie that they just wanted to live "happy, peaceful, healthy" lives.

Kylie previously opened up about the cheating scandal and her relationship with Woods during an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians in 2019. At the time, she told Khloé:

"I think that this whole Jordyn situation needed to happen. For a reason. For me, for her, for you, for everyone. She was my security blanket, she lived with me, we did everything together, I just felt like, 'Oh, I have Jordyn, I don't need anything else. I feel like there's a part of me that needed to grow up without her. And sometimes people are there for certain reasons and certain times of your life and not for others."
