The Later Daters, a Netflix reality TV series, premiered on November 29, 2024. This show introduced viewers to six baby boomers who would go on a series of blind dates to find a potential partner in a new phase of their lives. Dating coach expert, Logan Urgy, would visit the contestants' family to help them manage their expectations and express their concerns or what they look for in a partner.

In the second episode, fans got an update regarding Frank and Suzanne's bond from the previous episode. They didn't stay in contact after connecting over Facebook, hence, Suzanne went on another blind date with Avery. Later in the episode, Nate opened up about his blind date as well. He talked about his date being religious and where he stood on the grounds of spirituality.

The Laters Daters episode 2 titled You Are on a Roll was released exclusively on Netflix on November 29, 2024. The episode synopsis read:

"Pam's colorful past keeps her from looking to the future. Dwayna's jaw drops when Anise unpacks her date. Logan tells Suzanne to toss out her playbook."

What happened on The Later Daters episode 2?

In The Later Daters episode 2, Nate recalled his date with Latreecia. During their conversation, Latreecia discussed her spirituality and connection with God. She said that she valued "that relationship" and bond in her life, adding:

"I am definitely a person who is intentional about what God has for me. So I value that relationship."

After their date ended, Nate elaborated on the stance he had on religion. During his confessional interview, he shared that he was not a Christian guy who would go to church very often. He explained that he still had a firm belief in prayer and God, but would visit church on occasions such as Christmas, New Year's, and Easter. The Later Daters cast member added:

"I do pray before every meal. I used to go to church every Sunday, but no I'm a sometime-y Christian. I still believe in God, still believe in prayer. I still believe in all of that. But going to church is not necessarily something that I want to do right now in my life."

In the second episode of The Later Daters, viewers got an update about Suzanne's date with Frank. The dating coach Logan Urgy mentioned that Frank was "in the right direction" but not her perfect match. For her second date, Suzanne met Avery, a 59-year-old financial advisor who she had a great time with. While comparing her meet-up with Frank to Avery's, she made an observation stating:

"He was a little mysterious, which is always charming to me, anyway. Frank was, heart on his sleeve. He was very forthcoming with everything in his life, his past. Avery was a little different. It took him a little bit to kind of open up."

Later in the epsidoe, Suzanne said that she felt connected with Avery as they "had a lot to talk about it." Avery told the producers that he felt "very at ease" opening to Suzanne as their conversation flowed naturally.

Episode 3 will give a further overview of their date and whether they'd stay in contact after their first meet-up or not.
