So far eight episodes of The Masked Singer season 11 have been released. Until now Book, Afghan Hound, Spaghetti & Meatballs, Sir Lion, Lizard, Lovebird, Koala, Ugly Sweater, and Starfish have been eliminated and revealed their identities as celebrity stars.
Here's how the elimination process of this Fox reality TV series' format is described in its official synopsis:
"With each performance, the host, panelists, audience, viewers, and even the other contestants are left guessing who is singing behind the mask. The singers may attempt to throw off the crowd, but keen observers might pick up on tiny clues buried throughout the show. Each week, a singer is eliminated -- and then reveals his or her true identity."
Season 11 judge panel includes Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, Rita Ora, and Robin Thicke alongside host Nick Cannon. In each episode, the mask of every contestant is revealed. The synopsis further states:
"The Masked Singer’' is a top-secret singing competition in which celebrities face off against one another while shrouded from head to toe in an elaborate costume, concealing his or her identity."
The Masked Singer season 11 masked stars revealed
1. Kevin Hart as Book
During The Masked Singer season 11 premiere episode, Book revealed his identity as comedian Kevin Hart. Book was the last performer on the first episode, he sang So Sick by Ne-Yo. His clue package included pictures of a detective badge, an Open Mic Night sign, and an Animals 101 book. Rita could sense someone with a comedic approach to singing was behind the mask, which proved to be true when Kevin unmasked himself.
2. Savannah Chrisley as Afghan Hound
The Wizard of Oz-themed second episode of season 11 featured Savannah Chrisley, one of the most influential reality TV stars. As per the judge panel guess, Robin and Jenny thought it was Bethenny Frankel and Brooke Hogan behind the mask respectively. Meanwhile, Ken and Rita voted for Olivia Jade Giannulli and Sistine Stallone instead. All Masked Singer judges' predictions were claimed untrue when Savannah revealed her identity under the Afghan Hound mask.
3. Joe Bastianich as Spaghetti & Meatballs
The Masked Singer season 11 episode 3 was Billy Joel-themed. All contestants showcased their unique talent by covering iconic Billy Joel songs in this episode. However, it wasn't Spaghetti & Meatballs' singing abilities that made the judges question whether he is from a singing background, one of the clues in the package was a chef's hat.
But the judges were unable to make a right guess. By the end of the Group C premiere: Billy Joel Night, Spaghetti & Meatballs was eliminated and had disclosed his identity as MasterChef star and culinary genius, Joe Bastianich.
4. Billy Bush as Sir Lion
The first wildcard of season 11 was Sir Lion who joined the Fox series during the TV theme night. Sir Lion sang the theme song of Married…With Children called Love and Marriage, and hinted at working with Betty Rubble on a TV show. He tried to secure his position in the game but was sent in a knockoff round and was ultimately eliminated. After a couple of wrong guesses by the judges, it was finally revealed that Sir Lion was Billy Bush.
5. Sisqó as Lizard
On the Shower Anthems Night, the Group C Finals also took place. Episode 5 was supposed to eliminate two contestants until the judges saved Poodle Moth through the Ding Dong Keep it On Bell. Lizard covered Bring Me to Life by Evanescence, his clue package included a picture of Justin Timberlake and a thermometer.
In the end, Lizard was eliminated and asked to reveal his identity, fans were surprised to see the Grammy-nominated singer Sisqó.
6. Colton Underwood as Lovebird
The Masked Singer's Transformers Night revealed Colton Underwood disguised as Lovebird. He sang All That You Are by Goo Goo Dolls on stage, Lovebird's visual clues included an MTV Award and told the judges that he had "made television history before" and was looking forward to that again by "winning the Golden Mask."
7. DeMarcus Ware as Koala
On Transformers Night, another wildcard entry Koala was also introduced but he couldn't survive in the game for too long. He performed the iconic song Everybody Wants to Rule the World by Tears for Fears.
Due to his vocal ability, the judges were able to guess that it might be someone who wasn't part of the music industry. Robin guessed Michael Irvin was Koala meanwhile panelists Rita and Ken claimed it was Deion Sanders and Terry Crews respectively. Fast forward to the end of the episode, Koala was unmasked to be DeMarcus Ware.
8. Charlie Wilson as Ugly Sweater
The Queen's Night on episode 6 eliminated Ugly Sweater when Rita Ora guessed Charlie Wilson as the contestant behind the mask. Charlie couldn't save himself in the game as Rita identified his voice, and Ora couldn't believe she guessed it right. This is how Ugly Sweater was eliminated from The Masked Singer season 11.
9. Kate Flannery as Starfish
Another elimination on the Queen's Night was Starfish whose identity was disclosed as The Office star Kate Flannery. The initial guess from Robin was Kate McKinnon, Rita guessed Amy Schumer and Ken thought Kate Flannery was Starfish. Additionally, Jenny thought Lisa Kudrow was the celebrity behind the mask. During her performance, Starfish sang Under Pressure and revealed a clue that she was connected to Jenny.
