On November 6, 2024, The Masked Singer returned for another night with the episode Group B Finals: 60s Night. The show took viewers back to the grooviest era with a lineup of nostalgic songs, vibrant costumes, and surprises. Hosted by Nick Cannon, this episode followed the Group B finalists as they competed for a spot in the upcoming Quarter Finals.

Judges Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, and guest judge Rita Ora eagerly participated, guessing the masked identities with their signature blend of humour and intrigue. This week's episode was a journey through classic hits, featuring performances of House of the Rising Sun, Do You Love Me, and Ain't No Way.

Each contestant demonstrated a distinct vocal range and stage presence while adopting their mysterious personas, hoping to advance one step closer to the coveted Masked Singer crown. In the end, Natalie's familiar face was revealed behind the Bluebell mask, much to the judges' surprise.

Bluebell's reveal as Grammy-nominated Natalie Imbruglia in The Masked Singer

The night saw the unmasking of Bluebell, a contestant whose performances and stage presence had captivated viewers in The Masked Singer. In her pre-performance clue package, Bluebell referenced a period in her life marked by creative challenges, sharing that she experienced a low point in her career when inspiration was hard to come by.

She said that becoming a mother was the most important thing that sparked her creative drive again and gave her a new perspective. When Bluebell sang Do You Love Me by The Contours, she got into the mood of the 1960s by performing with engaging dance moves and vocals.

For their final guesses, the panelists considered names such as Naomi Watts, Isla Fisher, and Kylie Minogue, though none were correct.

Bluebell was ultimately revealed to be Grammy-nominated singer Natalie Imbruglia. Known for her hit song Torn, Imbruglia’s appearance brought a sense of nostalgia, adding to the evening’s mix of surprises for both the judges and the audience.

Goo’s journey and battle royale with Wasp in The Masked Singer

Goo, another finalist from Group B, performed a rendition of House of the Rising Sun by The Animals. In his clue package, Goo shared insights into his early career, describing a time when he took a significant risk, embarking on his journey with just enough money to last a year.

His story of moving from a struggling artist to a successful performer resonated with viewers, with Goo mentioning a transformative moment that marked a turning point in his life.

For his final clue, a whistle in a bowl of Jell-O appeared, leaving the judges divided in their guesses, with names like Anthony Hamilton and Brian McKnight in the mix.

Following Bluebell’s reveal, Goo and Wasp faced off in a Battle Royale, each putting their own spin on Marvin Gaye's I Heard it Through the Grapevine.

Their unique interpretations made it difficult for the judges to choose, and Wasp ultimately won the round in Group B finals of The Masked Singer. However, before Goo could unmask, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg decided to use the one-time-only Ding Dong Keep it On bell, allowing Goo to remain in the competition and advance to the Quarterfinals.

The judges and viewers alike look forward to seeing what Goo brings to the next stage.
