"The microcosm of America"— Beast Games player 952 criticizes Player 539's choice

Beast Games season 1 aired episode 7 this week on Thursday, January 23, 2025. The segment revealed the Top 21 after the Physical Game concluded and brought the contestants to their latest hurdle, the train of elimination.

The players were asked to pick a captain, who then had to pick his three least favorite players. Akira, aka Player 539 was chosen after his move to eliminate Player 406 in the previous episode impressed most contestants. His three least favorite players were Player 952, 182, and 626.

When asked by Mr. Beast about Akira's choice, Player 952 criticized the cast member for picking three "Black women."

"It's the microcosm of America. The black woman is always last," she said.

Akira player 952 from Beast Games season 1 in episode 7

In Beast Games season 1 episode 7, Akira, or Player 539 was chosen as the first captain during the Elimination Train task. He had to pick three of his least favorite contestants and picked players 952, 182, and 626. The host asked the three to stand on the Red Track. He also revealed that Akira had to choose between eliminating three contestants or destroying his "brand new Lamborghini."

"Not a train, not a plane, not a Lamborghini, or Akira can stop the favor of God. Let me just tell you," Mia told the cameras.

When the host asked the three contestants how they felt about Akira's decision, Mia said that the "Black woman was always last." Several contestants criticized Player 952's analysis of Akira's choice and said he wasn't like that.

"I don't think her comment is a reflection of how this game is being played right now," Player 817 said.

The host said it was time for the Beast Games season 1 contestant to make a decision meanwhile the other contestants chimed in on what he might do. A majority of the people didn't think he would save the car over three contestants. Mr. Beast asked the three at-risk players if they had anything to say and player 182 said she believed Akira would do the "right thing."

Player 952 wondered why he would eliminate the person who "did the most work" while everyone else was sitting back and "relaxing." She said she took a chance and worked for her island. Akira said it was hard for him to choose between the Lamborghini and three "great people who played their hearts out" while on Beast Games.

Player 182 told him that he may not have a connection with them but the rest did and he would have to face them later. Mia said he would have to "face the same thing."

The safe players cheered him on and told him to trust his gut. Some told him to eliminate the competition while Player 952 told him to do what he had to do. But reminded him that whatever he chose, the same would be done to him.

"I told you all that I didn't think I could win this $5 million, but I'm here to help someone else win it. The only way to do that," he said as he pulled the lever and eliminated three players.

Akira apologized to the three Beast Games contestants but player 182 said she didn't want to talk to him. Akira said what was done was done and they could hate him if they wanted to. The male cast member started to cry as the save contestants told him they supported him while Player 952 said "He not gonna last."

Akira eliminated three other contestants before being eliminated from Beast Games season 1 during episode 7.
