In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, published on November 6, 2024, Joan recalled her time on the show and revealed a blooper from behind the scenes. She shared a moment from the Hometown Dates episode when Joan met Clock's friends and family.
The Golden Bachelorette star mentioned that while Clock was declaring his love for her, her boob strap came off. Although Joan was sure that the cameras didn't capture the moment, she continued:

"There's no chance nobody saw it. But the cameras, I don't think caught it, because they definitely would've shown it. So that was the one that I got away with.”

During her interview, Joan shared an awkward moment while filming. She told the interviewer that her boob pad "coming unstuck" due to the hot and humid climate was one of the embarrassing bloopers. Joan explained that it was summer when the filming took place, and she was wearing a sundress. She continued:
“I feel it starting to slip and I'm trying to stop it with my arm, and I can't do it. It makes it down to my stomach, and then it comes right off the bottom of the dress, and there it is by my foot! We're standing in front of everybody."
