What happened on The Real Housewives of Dubai season 2 episode 6?
As Yasmine returned from her father Cem Habib's place, she had to talk to her mom Caroline Stanbury about some family matters. In The Real Housewives of Dubai season 2 episode 6, Yasmine explained to Stanbury that she already had a father and didn't want someone else to step in and take over that role. Referring to Sergio's behavior, Yasmine said:
"At the end of the day, he's not my dad. I try, but he makes it very difficult sometimes. That's all I'm gonna say. I really don't like when he steps in when you're trying to parent us — that's not his place."
Meanwhile, Stanbury insisted her daughter didn't give Sergio time to prove what kind of a person he was. During her confessional interview, she admitted that her kids didn't get enough time to adjust to the sudden change. Especially due to COVID-19 when Sergio spent the quarantine in her house. Stanbury stated:
"My kids didn't have much time to adjust, and that's one of my biggest regrets. Covid sped up our relationship one hundred fold. My ex-husband moved out, and then Sergio got locked down here. But at the same time, their father and I had grown apart. So with or without Sergio, I was getting divorced."
Later in the episode, Yasmine said she didn't like how Sergio would talk to her during arguments. However, Stanbury felt that no kid would be welcoming toward a step-parent.
The Real Housewives of Dubai season 2 episode 6 ended with Brooks throwing a party for her son in which archery, football, and water fights were arranged. The adults as well as kids had a fun time at Adam's birthday.
Lesa Milan and Sara told the cameras how extravagant events are in Dubai. Usually, parents gift their newborn babies and even toddlers expensive cars such as Rolls Royce. So, in comparison to those parties, Adam's celebration was age-appropriate. Sara said:
"Once, I went to a two-year-old's birthday. And the parents gifted the two-year-old a Rolls Royce. What the hell is this two-year-old going to do with this car?"
