What happened on The Real Housewives of Dubai season 2 episode 8?
The Real Housewives of Dubai season 2 episode 8, titled The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Voice Note, started with Lesa wondering whether Brooks and Taleen would be joining them for the trip. Taleen told Raffi that she was scared to go to Bali and was worried that Brooks lied about Taleen’s “begging” which she did not. Sara and Brooks were on FaceTime while packing for their trip.
On the other hand, Caroline Stanbury was expecting an apology for the housewarming party, which was ruined the other day. She told her husband Sergio:
"Everyone should have kept it for the next day. They all owe me an apology as far as I’m concerned."
Before leaving for Spain, Sergio gave Caroline a poster of himself. As soon as Chanel arrived, she was joking and said:
"Imagine if the plane went down. Do you want me to die with sneakers and tights? Not me. I’m gonna meet God in couture."
While the rest of the cast members came, Brooks was not yet at the airport. They had to leave without her.
Housewives’ trip to Bali
After reaching their exotic vacation destination, ladies went for dinner. Sara made a toast and asked everyone to resolve whatever conflicts they had. She also asked if they would report the missing child (Brooks.)
Taleen wanted to resolve things with Brooks, to which Chanel responded:
"Really? I heard you were chasing her at Stanbury’s house, saying ‘Where is your husband?’ "
Then, Taleen replied:
"Don’t go there when I said I don’t want drama. That’s dirty what you’re doing. First of all, I never chased anyone around the house."
Sara requested that they should not have the conversation without Brooks. Then the discussion shifted to Sara and her new relationship.
The Real Housewives of Dubai episode 8: Party without Brooks
The theme of the trip was, “Eat, Pray, Party” which Brooks oraganized, and she was the one, absent from the trip. They all enjoyed their time on the trip. Chanel was dancing, and she also dragged Stanbury to dance. Later, Stanbury shared in the confessional, referring to Brooks’ absence:
"It’s amazing how one energy can affect so many people."
Brooks did not want to come on the trip. However, later she changed her mind and flew private to go to Bali. While Chanel wanted to dance and enjoy their time, everyone else just wanted to go to bed.
Next day: New adventures, and more drama
The next day, housewives went on a yacht where they all had various conversations. While some of them jumped into the ocean, Chanel shared this with Caroline Stanbury and Taleen, and a flashback was played. The video clip showed Chanel’s WhatsApp with a voice note from Sara. She said in the audio:
"Babe, I’m not her (Brook’s) biggest fan."
Taleen wanted Chanel to play the voice note for Brooks. Later that evening, Caroline Stanbury told everyone:
"Since we’re being so honest. If Sara were such a good friend, she needs to have accountability for the voice note you played us."
Chane and Sara both reacted saying this is "f—ked up." Episode 8 ended with Brooks in shock, staring at Sara.
