Season 18 of The Real Housewives of Orange County concluded on October 31, 2024, with the reunion airing on November 7. The season featured Tamra, Emily, Shannon, Katie, Gina, Jennifer, and Heather, with Alexis, Sutton, Teddi, and Vicki in recurring roles. In the finale, Alexis hosted a party with an "80s dorky bridesmaid" theme, and Jenn got engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Ryan.

The reunion saw all the ladies discuss the drama that took place in the latest season. The synopsis of the episode read:

"Shannon and Tamra argue about Tamra's DUI incident; Heather leads the group in confronting Katie on shocking headlines; Jenn finds herself under pressure as her fiance's FBI investigation becomes a topic of discussion."

What happened in The Real Housewives Of Orange County season 18 reunion part 1?

The Real Housewives of Orange County reunion ignited with fiery passion, as the ladies showed up in their best attire. Shannon and Tamra's season-long feud took center stage, with both women presenting their sides of the story. However, their heated exchange left neither party truly heard.

Tamra started the conversation by expressing how to resolve the conflict. She stated that they didn't need to be friends, but they didn't have to be toxic either. Despite Tamra's apparent olive branch, Shannon remained guarded, referencing lingering wounds.

Shannon explained that she had no interest in being friends with Tamra due to the way she treated her this season. She also emphasized that Tamra's return to the group had irreparably damaged their friendship.

"You attack me and I really have no interest in being friends with you because in my therapy what I'm doing is creating healthy boundaries. And healthy boundary means not staying in a toxic relationship," shared Shannon.

The conversation took a tense turn when Shannon denied using alcohol as a coping mechanism, but Tamra countered, expressing concerns about Shannon's drinking habits. Tamra remained composed, revealing Shannon's alleged drunken calls, which sparked a stalemate by the time the first commercial break hit.

Meanwhile, Heather and Katie's dispute unfolded predictably. Instead of discussing Katie's upcoming Korea trip, the focus shifted to Heather's alleged snub at Sutton's party. Most agreed the incident never occurred, with Heather labeling Katie's claims incredulous.

Heather passionately asserted her innocence, questioning Katie's credibility. Katie struggled to respond, prompting Heather to note Katie's history of false accusations, referencing a 2016 lawsuit filed by Sidnei Silva accusing her of reporting a fake crime. According to the lawsuit, Katie confronted the man after he shook his head at her for texting and driving, leading her to call 911 with fabricated claims.

A man alleged that Katie followed him home, prompting him to film her in self-defense. Police identified Katie as the primary aggressor, and her claims were found false, leading to a default judgment of $112,945 in his favor. The incident resurfaced in the current Real Housewives of Orange County season when Emily and Heather mentioned the man’s false arrest. Katie later clarified that he was not imprisoned.

Katie claimed a man swerved into her lane, threatened her, and used obscenities, prompting her to call the police, who later tased him. Heather disputed this, referencing police reports indicating that Katie followed the man home, which Katie denied, leading Heather to sarcastically suggest the police might be lying.

Meanwhile, Jenn faced scrutiny over her fiancé Ryan, who was reportedly questioned by the FBI for alleged involvement in a $16 million gambling and theft scandal linked to a bookmaker and a former interpreter for Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani.

In The Real Housewives of Orange County reunion, Emily chimed in about Ryan's involvement and potential immunity deal. Jenn questioned Emily's sources, but Emily confidently reaffirmed her expertise. Emily concluded by urging Jenn to take responsibility, rather than blindly supporting Ryan.

The second part of The Real Housewives of Orange County reunion continues on Thursdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
