The Real Housewives of Orange County season 18 episode 12 recap: Shannon claps back at Tamra and Heather over loan accusations

The Real Housewives of Orange County season 18 episode 12 aired on October 10, 2024, at 9 pm ET on Bravo TV. Titled High Tea & High Tension, the episode depicted the ladies enjoying a boat ride when Shannon surprised them with a trip to England.

Shannon confronted Tamra and Heather over the duo accusing her of lying about the $75,000 loan she took from Alexis' future husband, John Jannsen. Alexis shed tears over not being invited to England and sent a text to Shannon regarding the same.

What happened in The Real Housewives of Orange County season 18 episode 12?

At the Los Angeles airport, Heather gave a shout-out to Shannon for her 60th birthday. As they landed and reached their designated hotel, the ladies of The Real Housewives of Orange County were on edge. Shannon tossed the cards into a bowl and let luck decide who gets which room. She later handed out $595 scarves to all the cast members.

The ladies arrived at London airport and Heather made sure everyone got their yearly mammogram back in Orange County. Shannon later revealed in the waiting room that she sent an "un-invitation" to Alexis through text. The latter replied asking to pay her future husband his $75,000.

“Hi Shannon Beador. Since you’re hosting this amazing trip to Europe with our friends, surely you can scrounge up the funds to pay my future husband his $75,000 that you borrowed and owed him. Safe travels,” Alexis' text read.

Shannon further revealed that she had sent a response to Alexis, stating that if she could host this England trip, she would “scrounge up the funds” to pay her future husband the money as well.

The events went further south on The Real Housewives of Orange County as Tamra brought up Shannon’s lawsuit. Shannon acknowledged that there was no promissory note, but then concluded the sentence admitting that John did send a note. Heather felt wronged by Shannon’s DUI photo setup and claimed that Shannon had propaganda to get it all on camera and used Heather.

This made Shannon upset as she couldn't believe Heather managed to turn the situation on her. Jennifer chimed in by stating that Shannon felt comfortable talking to her, while the latter explained that she was not enjoying the reality series as it was bleeding into her real life.

Tamra couldn't help but jump into the conversation and claimed that Shannon was not the victim. Shannon got up from the table and before storming off she told the ladies that she was indeed not the victim as she was working on herself.

Later in the episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Tamra couldn't help but chuckle at the remark and said that she was imagining Shannon "through bars" as it looked like the latter was in jail. She also revealed that she was done being used by Shannon, while Gina ran after Shannon.

Before the episode concluded, Shannon revealed that Tamra was working with Alexis to tarnish her name.

Two months earlier, Shannon accused Alexis of being involved in the 2018 lawsuit against Tamra and Shannon, but Alexis denied it. Shannon soon proved her wrong as the screen showed the text which read:

“Everything you and Tamra have said in the media are lies. We have engaged a lawyer and will be suing you and Tamra. You will be hearing from our attorney tomorrow.”
