The new season started with fresh drama as the cast tried to figure out the events leading to Karen's DUI incident. The group seeks answers as they get kicked out of Gizelle's charity event while Mia gets some space away with Inc.
Season 9 of The Real Housewives of Potomac includes returning cast members Gizelle Bryant, Karen Huger, Ashley Darby, Dr. Wendy Osefo, and Mia Thornton. Stacey Rusch, Keiarna Stewart, and Jassi Rideaux are the new housewives who will join the cast members this season.
What happened in The Real Housewives of Potomac season 9 episode 3?
The episode started with Gizelle kicking Jassi, Mia, and Stacey out of her charity event that was dedicated to her late father who passed away from cancer. The ladies explained they were just four minutes late, but Gizelle wasn't buying it.
“My father passed away months ago. Karen getting an award; who gives a sh*t? This is the same woman who just hit a tree… Don’t play with me. Not tonight,” stated Gizelle.
Ashley got some heat on her as she tried to ask for donations from the ladies who were kicked out. Jassi in particular didn't like the exchange and proceeded to shut the door of her van when Ashley was standing on it.
The next morning, Stacey invited Jassi, Karen, and Ashley over to her home for a get-together and to find out what happened last night that irked Gizelle this much.
Gizelle's friend Ashley confronted Karen for inviting the group to her event which took place on the same day and resulted in the ladies arriving late to the charity event.
Karen deflected the situation by bringing up Ashley's “inquisition” birthday party and the Uber vouchers she brought up. The group ultimately decided to move on and came to a consensus that Gizelle should apologize.
As Wendy’s mom visited the former to cook for her, Wendy announced that she was going on a cast trip with the rest of The Real Housewives of Potomac castmates to North Carolina.
Since it would be her 40th birthday, Wendy decided to invite her husband's parents to the party despite having a recent fallout.
Keiarna's mom also visited her daughter to check if the former's boyfriend proposed to her. This prompted Keiarna to state she was not a “thirsty ring girl.”
In Gizelle’s house, her twins were getting ready for their prom which made The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member mull over the fact that she was going to be living alone soon and she later decided to apologize to the trio she kicked out from the party.
Later, Mia and Inc decided to host a birthday party for Jacqueline’s ex-partner, Patrick. Afterward, Jacqueline gave a confessional in which she claimed that Mia and Inc broke up and the latter asked her out to dinner.
Ashley and her new boyfriend, TJ, were not doing any better as the latter declared that he was not interested in sleeping with her.
As the episode was concluding, the ladies gathered around for the cast trip. Gizelle met up with Ashley, Jassi, Stacey, and Wendy and apologized to the group. Stacey also confronted Ashley about sharing her relationship details with everyone in the group.
While the ladies reached Queen City, Mia checked on Karen about her DUI through a phone call.
The Real Housewives of Potomac airs on Sundays at 8 pm ET/PT on Bravo.
