The Traitors UK season 3 premiered on January 1 on BBC One. The show returned with a new batch of contestants hoping to win the £120k prize money at stake.
Out of the 25 contestants who entered the reality show, three have taken on the roles of the Traitors. In each episode, contestants must participate in several challenges to increase their prize pool.
The Traitors hide their identities and secretly meet up to murder the faithful contestants of their choice, who are eliminated or "murdered."
By the end of the episode, the cast has to unanimously decide who they think is the Traitor, and the contestant with the most votes to their name is banished from the villa. The banished contestant is eliminated and must reveal whether they were a Traitor.
Over 6 episodes, ten contestants have been eliminated. The cast members who have been banished are Tyler, Kasim, Armani, Elen, Nathan and Dan. Meanwhile, "murdered" contestants include Yin, Keith, and Maia. Jack was the only contestant to be eliminated during that challenge.
The Traitors UK season 3 eliminations so far
Episode 1: Yin
Yin was the first The Traitors UK season 3 contestant to be eliminated from the show. The Traitors decided to murder her just because they thought she was an intelligent person and could pose a problem if she went on in the show.
"My God that was fast! I had this whole narrative planned. This is chapter one but really this is the end, but I have enjoyed every demi, semi quaver of this experience so far, as short as it has been," she reacted to her elimination.
Episode 2: Nathan, Keith and Elen
The Traitors UK season 3 episode 1's cliffhanger left on the first roundtable of the season. As it continued in the next episode, it was revealed that Nathan had been banished with eight votes in his name.
As the Traitors resumed their game, they targeted Keith for their next murder. The players were left shocked when Keith was discovered "dead" during breakfast the following morning.
Episode 2 included another round table elimination, and this time it was Elen. The Traitors UK contestant attracted a target on her back when she stated that one of the Traitors would be a strong woman and voted for Linda.
Episode 3: Armani
The Faithfuls in the The Traitors UK uncovered their first Traitor in episode 3. Suspicion had been building around Armani, leading to her elimination during the roundtable meeting, where she received nine votes.
"I have had the best time, I would not have chosen to be any different because it’s genuinely just who I am, genuinely so grateful for the time, you guys are all amazing, I love you all…I am a Traitor," she reacted to her elimination.
Episode 4: Maia and Jack, Kasim
With Armanin out of the show, the two remaining Traitors, Linda and Minah, decided to take out her younger sister Maia and murder her on the same night.
Later in the episode, Jack, Fozia, and Alexander were suspended in cages high above the ground for a mission, where their fellow contestants could only save two of them. To lower the cages, the group had to collect enough coins. Ultimately, they chose to save Fozia and Alexander, resulting in Jack's elimination.
At the end of the episode, during the roundtable, Kasim failed to prove himself as a Faithful and was banished with majority votes to his name.
Episode 5: Tyler
Freddie felt that Tyler was a Traitor and began convincing others about the same. When the majority voted for Tyler at The Traitors UK season 3 episode 5 roundtable, Tyler revealed he was not a traitor.
"I just want to say I love all of you, it's just a game. So keep going and smash it, I love you. I am Faithful," he reacted.
Episode 6: Dan
Dan was the recent player to get eliminated. His demise began when he speculated that the traitor might be someone close to him. This is followed by the cast seeing his increasingly reckless approach at the roundtable, which led them to vote him out.
The Traitors UK season 3 episode premiered every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday on BBC One.
