The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On season 3 finale kicked off with Zaina and J.R.'s decision. Zaina was the one who issued an ultimatum and was hoping to get married to J.R. However, J.R. who had already gone through a divorce previously, wanted to be 100% sure about the person he wanted to get married to.

When the couple stood before each other to make a decision, J.R. expressed to Zaina how she would make a "fantastic wife" and mother. He shared how he envisioned those two together and him giving her 100% of what he had to make her happy.

While J.R. believed that they could have a great life together, he felt that he wasn't ready for that at the moment. He decided to leave the show as a single.

Next up were Mariah and Caleb. Mariah gave the ultimatum and in the finale episode of The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On season 3, she told her partner that she was still willing to spend the rest of her life with him.

"I still feel very eager and excited to create a life with you, and I'm so grateful that you've been so honest and transparent. All of that makes for really a great husband," she added.

Now it was up to Caleb to decide if he wanted to get engaged or not. Before making his decision he reflected on his relationship with Mariah and told her that he was scared that she loved him more than he loved himself. However, he wasn't afraid anymore, and he wanted to show up for Mariah in the same way she did for him.

Caleb got down on one knee to propose to Mariah and the two got engaged.

Nick and Sandy had one of the most tumultuous relationships out of all the The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On season 3 couple.

Nick had given Sandy an ultimatum, and in the finale episode, he poured his heart out, expressing how deeply he loved her and how much he wanted to spend his life with her. As he reached for the ring, ready to propose, he suddenly paused, noticing hesitation in Sandy's expression.

"I love you so much. I have nothing but love for you. But there's so much else that goes into a marriage and a life partner, and I do have some concerns, and hesitations, and fears with you, babe," Sandy told Nick.

Sandy's hesitation was enough for Nick to decide that things between them wouldn't work and they needed to break up. The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On star wished his former partner well for the future and left her with a sad look on his face.

Finally, it was time for Scotty and Aria to make a decision. Scotty admitted to Aria during the episode that he might have issued her an Ultimatum for the wrong reasons. He shared how he was initially scared and apologized to Aria for not giving the reassurance she needed in their relationship.

"I don't want you to feel like you're always compromising, and I'm not. I want to compromise with you, and I want you to see that I've compromised to be here. I'm here because I love you. Because I did not want to be here," Aria responded.

Scotty later shared how the show allows them to "enter into a new season" in their relationship where he wanted to be her "protector" and "peace." He expressed how much he loved Aria and how she meant to him. He proposed to her and the The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On couple got engaged.
