On Friday, May 24, 2024, The Ultimatum: South Africa wrapped up the social experiment that featured a six-way swap between couples. The segment saw the cast of the Netflix show return to provide fans insights about their lives and to answer some burning questions.

Despite having left the show early, Lebo and Nolla were also in attendance and opened up about what had been happening between them. The couple revealed that although they broke up on screen after Nolla cheated on his girlfriend with Ruth, they got back together a month after they left the show. The male cast member said they were happy together, which made another cast member, Isaac, laugh.

Nolla asked Isaac why he was laughing and the cast member said that he and Lebo had developed a close friendship outside the show and he knew with certainty that she wasn't happy. Lebo agreed that although she and Isaac may not have been trial partners on the show, they had kept in touch.

Isaac recalled telling Lebo she would never be happy with Nolla during The Ultimatum: South Africa reunion special

During The Ultimatum: South Africa reunion special, which aired on Friday, May 24, 2024, fans saw Lebo break up with Nolla on screen for the second time during the series. She previously left him and the social experiment after Ruth confessed to Lebo that she and Nolla slept together multiple times during the Netflix show.

During the reunion special, Lebo recalled what happened after she and Nolla left the show and revealed that Nolla convinced her to give him another chance. Isaac laughed at the situation and said that he "knew Lebo" and noted that she wasn't happy.

Lebo said:

"Isaac and I talk a lot. So I share a lot of things with him. To be honest he's right, I'm not happy."

Nolla was taken aback by Lebo's statement and called it a "bombshell." He added that he didn't know she wasn't happy and said he believed they were okay. The Ultimatum: South Africa cast member said they both sacrificed a lot to make it work. Nolla further added that Lebo expressing her feelings to Isaac instead of him felt like a "betrayal."

Isaac interjected and said that he and Lebo were just "good friends" and that Nolla came up in every conversation they had.

"He always comes up. And I'll just tell her, like, 'Hey, at some point in your life, you have to decide what is good for you.' But as long as she still has what she has with him, she's not going to be happy," Isaac said.

The Ultimatum: South Africa star Lebo said watching the Netflix show back, and how her and Nolla's relationship started, she saw a future with Nolla. However, once they came on the show, she saw a different side to him.

Lebo breaks up with Nolla on screen

Lebo opened up about how she felt about Nolla after the social experiment and said that although she saw various sides of him during and after the show, she couldn't say that her boyfriend had changed "a bit" after The Ultimatum: South Africa.

She added that she had seen a lot of "personalities" and noted that they hadn't been happy together. She added that she didn't see herself being married to him and was confused.

Speaking directly to Nolla, she said:

After thinking deeply about our relationship, I've seen that you're not ready to change, or you're not ready to change for me. And as hard as it is, every day I've tried to work things out with you, I've learned actually learned to unlove you. I don't feel like I'm still in love with you anymore, and I've decided to end our relationship."

Nolla was upset with her revelation but Lebo's friend, Isaac, cheered on for the breakup.
