Season 26 of the popular singing reality TV show, The Voice, was released in September earlier this year. This season is special for two reasons: the addition of two new coaches, Michael Bublé and Snoop Dogg, and the introduction of a new twist in the gameplay, the Coach Replay button.

The latest season has already aired 6 Blind Audition episodes, and the Battlegrounds phase is approaching. The Battles will be followed by The Knockouts, which will lead to The Playoffs and will end with a Live Shows segment.

The complete schedule of The Voice season 26

The Blind Auditions

Season 26 of The Voice aired only on Mondays in September instead of its usual Monday-Tuesday schedule due to the presidential debate taking its time slot. This slowed down the Blind Auditions segment of the show and extended it into October.

The Blind Auditions segment of the show typically includes all four coaches listening to an audition without watching the singers. If they like their voice, they turn their chairs around and make themselves available as a mentor.

The contestant then would choose the team they want to be on based on their options. If no chairs turn for the contestant, they don't advance in the competition. However, this rule of The Voice was modified with the new 'Coach Replay button.'

The coaches got one of these buttons each, and it enabled them to rectify their mistake of not turning their chairs during a performance by allowing them to turn after. The Blind Auditions segment this season featured a total of 56 contestants, equalling 14 in each team.

The Battles

The Battles phase of the competition will reduce the total number of contestants to 36, which equals nine in each team. In this round, the contestants of each team will be pitted against each other to compete for their spot in the season.

The Knockoffs

With 9 members per team, the knockoffs this season will be 3-way. In other words, three contestants within the team will compete against each other, performing solos for their respective coaches, who will choose one from each trio.

This round will also see the coaches using their Steal buttons, enabling them to nick an unchosen contestant from an adjacent team. Each coach will also have the power to save one contestant of their choice.

The round will bring out five contestants from each team, of which three will be the winners of the knockoffs, one stolen from the other team, and one saved with the special power, totaling the number of contestants to 20. In this round, the coaches will be assisted by a celebrity mega mentor, who will mentor and also help the panelists decide on candidates.

The Playoffs

There will be a celebrity mentor for each coach in the Playoffs. Here, the contestants will compete against each other for a spot on the final Live Shows segment of the show. Two artists from each coach will be chosen to advance, totaling the number of contestants to 12.

The Live Shows

This segment will open up the voting lines for the viewers sitting at home to vote for their favorite artists. The artist with the highest number of votes in each team will advance, while the one with the lowest vote count will be eligible for the Instant Save and will have to perform a song to compete for it.

Lastly, the remaining contestants will compete to be crowned the winner of The Voice and secure a recording contract. Viewers could vote for their favorite artist on The Voice official app or on NBC.com.
