The Voice Season 26 Finale Part 2: Snoop Dogg and Sting perform their new song 'Another Part of Me'

The much-anticipated Season 26 Live Finale Part 2 of The Voice aired on Tuesday, December 10, 2024. Fans eagerly awaited to find out which final artists would be crowned the winner and take home the trophy of The Voice season 26.

The episode also featured special performances, including a highly anticipated debut collaboration between Snoop Dogg and Sting. Their new song, Another Part of Me, was performed for the first time on television, giving fans a glimpse into the dynamic between The Voice coach Snoop and mega mentor Sting.

In the finale, the five finalists from The Voice Season 26 were joined by additional fan favorites from the top eight for the evening filled with various performances. Sydney Sterlace of Team Gwen, Danny Joseph of Team Reba, Shye and Sofronio Vasquez of Team Bublé, and Jeremy Beloate of Team Snoop were among the top five finalists who performed in the finals.


The Voice: Snoop Dogg and Sting’s collaboration

One of the night's standout performances was the world debut of Another Part of Me, a song by Snoop Dogg and Sting. The collaboration was a blend of hip-hop and rock, combining Snoop's West Coast flow with Sting’s signature sound. The song, part of Snoop Dogg's upcoming album Missionary, was released on Snoop's YouTube channel on November 29, 2024.

The track begins with Snoop Dogg’s verses, paying homage to Los Angeles and referencing iconic '80s films. As Snoop sets the tone, Sting follows with his distinctive voice, singing about staying driven even at the height of success. Another Part of Me is a fusion of genres produced by Dr. Dre.

As described by NBC Insider, Snoop raps, continuing with a nod to his roots, "This for my people, I'm just handlin' procedure,” adding,

"Bright lights, sunny days, cold nights / Ride the wave, hold tight, just a day in Los Angeles."

Sting follows with a verse that reinforces the idea of staying motivated and rising above challenges.

“Yeah, there's no better time than today / In a moment jump up on it, see the ocean, stay in motion,” he sings.

What happened in the episode?

The finale night kicked off with a performance of Defying Gravity by the Top 8 contestants, all of whom gave their best tribute to the musical Wicked. The star-studded evening also featured performances from former coaches and mentors. Dan + Shay, who had previously coached on The Voice, returned to the stage to perform their holiday hit It's Officially Christmas.

The episode also included duets between the finalists and their coaches. Sydney Sterlace sang Wild World with coach Gwen Stefani, while Danny Joseph performed You Don’t Know Me with Reba McEntire. Shye and Michael Bublé performed Something Stupid by Frank and Nancy Sinatra.

The night also included a special performance from Myles Smith, who sang Stargazing. Kelly Clarkson made a short appearance, performing her holiday single You for Christmas. Meanwhile, the legendary group Tears for Fears performed their iconic song Everybody Wants to Rule the World.

The big reveal came when the winner of The Voice Season 26 was announced. After the finalists had performed their final songs, the results were unveiled, and Sofronio Vasquez from Team Bublé was crowned the winner of The Voice Season 26.
