The Voice live show revealed the top four finalists: Sofronio Vasquez and Shye (Team Bublé), Sydney Sterlace (Team Gwen), and Jeremy Beloate (Team Snoop).

The remaining four contestants — Adam Bohanan, Christina Eagle, Jan Dan, and Danny Joseph — were called upon to perform in the Instant Save round, where America cast their votes for one last chance to stay in the competition.

  • Christina Eagle performed Heart Like a Truck
  • Adam Bohanan performed Pretty Wings
  • Jan Dan performed Gravity
  • Danny Joseph performed House of the Rising Sun

After these performances, Danny Joseph was chosen as the fifth finalist by America’s votes, and Christina, Adam, and Jan were eliminated from The Voice.

Season highlight performances of the eliminated artists

1) Adam Bohanan

Adam Bohanan, who received a single chair turn from Reba McEntire's team, performed Think I'm in Love With You by Chris Stapleton during the playoffs. Known for his powerful voice and impressive range, Adam earned praise from all four coaches for his performance. Reba McEntire, in particular, lauded his "dirty soul" sound and the emotional depth he brought to the song, saying,

“Adam’s voice stands out because it’s powerful, he’s got great range, he’s got that gravel in his voice. He’s my dirty soul singer."

Despite his strong performance, Adam was unable to secure enough votes to move forward, and he was eliminated in the Instant Save round.

2) Christina Eagle

Christina Eagle from Team Snoop Dogg impressed with her energetic and confident performance of Reba McEntire's iconic song Fancy. Snoop Dogg praised Christina for her boldness, noting her performance was full of courage and energy, saying,

"That's courageousness, you took charge, and that's some of the thing I was looking for from you. Thank you for making me happy."

Reba herself was highly impressed, appreciating how Christina put her spin on the classic hit. Despite her engaging performance and unique style, Christina did not receive enough votes to make it to the finale, and she was eliminated from The Voice season 26.

3) Jan Dan

Jan Dan, a member of Team Gwen, made a notable comeback after his Battle Round, where he had to leave for the birth of his child. His performance of Miley Cyrus' "Angels Like You" during the Knockouts impressed the coaches with its emotional depth. Gwen Stefani praised his vocal ability and artistic choice in selecting a pop song with an R&B twist, saying,

"‘Wow, you just showed me the lane you want to be in as an artist,’ because nobody’s doing a pop song with an R&B soulful style.”

However, after the Instant Save round, Jan was not voted into the finale, and he was sent home.

The Voice season 26 finale airs Monday, December 9, at 8:00 p.m. ET on NBC, with a repeat on Tuesday, December 10, at 9:00 p.m. ET. It will feature performances by Dan + Shay, Huntley, Kelly Clarkson, Martha Stewart, Tears for Fears, and more. Viewers can also stream it on Peacock.
