Season 26 of The Voice is set to release a new episode on Monday, October 21, 2024. After going through rounds of blind auditions the coaches were ready for the Battles to begin. The NBC show teased the first look of the upcoming Battles round on their official YouTube channel on October 18, 2024.

It saw Gail Bliss and Christina Eagle from Team Snoop Dogg sing Gretchen Wilson's Redneck Woman. The coaches danced and grooved to their performance while the singers put their best foot forward to outshine each other for a chance to advance in the competition.

While the studio audience applauded their performance, The Voice coach Reba McEntire complimented the duo for making Snoop Dogg dance with their "entertaining" singing.

"I loved it. Totally entertaining. You had Snoop dancing up a storm. Way to bring the party to the table," Reba said.

Snoop Dogg faced a tough decision as he could only choose one contestant to advance to the next round of the competition. Fans will have to tune in on Monday to discover the outcome, as the sneak peek ended on a cliffhanger.

As Gail and Christina stepped onto the stage, Snoop Dogg cheered, "My ladies, yes!" Reba watched the pair perform Gretchen Wilson's Redneck Woman with a smile, while Snoop Dogg danced to the beat of the song. Coaches Gwen Stefani and Michael Buble clapped along, impressed by their rendition of the country song.

As soon as their performance concluded, all four coaches gave them a standing ovation. Reba complimented Christina's vocal range, saying, she was "a force of nature. Your vocals were up there." Meanwhile, she praised how Gail flaunted her lower register, stating, "Gail, you had more of the low wind going."

"You're almost like sisters up there singing together, having fun, so boy, good luck there, Snoop," Reba added.

The Voice coach Gwen chimed in, echoing Reba's comments. She admitted she was "just blown away" by their performance. Gwen could not believe that Christina, with her musical abilities, was not signed to a professional label. "You're insanely good," she said. Gwen complimented how well-versed Christina was with personality, charisma, and stage presence.

While commenting on Gail's performance, Gwen mentioned how her "incredibly confident" personality made her seem "very seasoned."

"I'm going to say that for me in this moment, Christina I couldn't keep my eyes off you. I love it," The Voice coach concluded.

On the other hand, Michael commended Snoop Dogg for choosing a song that "allowed both of them to completely blow this place away." He claimed Christina's singing was "just moving," impressed by her ability to pull off high notes easily. He added they had "this Elvis [thing]," which made him enjoy "every single second of it." Michael was relieved he was not in Snoop Dogg's position because he admitted he would not know whom to choose between the two.

Christina and Gail's mentor weighed in on their performance, saying he loved what they brought to the table.

"It doesn't take a lot to make me move, but it takes a lot to make me get to gangster Holy Ghost, and that's what y'all gave me. That's why I couldn't control myself. I was trying to sit in the chair and dance, and I was like, 'This ain't a big enough' " Snoop Dogg said.

The Voice coach complimented their sisterhood and energy on stage. However, he admitted that the decision he had to make would break his heart. Before the rapper could announce the winner of the battle, the clip ended, leaving fans on a cliffhanger.

The Voice airs every Monday and Tuesday at 8 pm ET only on NBC.
