The Voice: Who are the Mega Mentors for season 26?

The Voice season 26 has already wrapped up the auditions as the selected contestants headed towards the Battle Round. From November 11, 2024, the Knockout Rounds will begin. In this segment of the singing competition reality TV series, the contestants perform their individual songs which they select on their own.

For the three-way round, artists compete against one another by performing solo on The Voice stage. Sting and Jennifer Hudson will be joining Michael Bublé and Reba McEntire's teams, and Snoop Dogg and Gwen Stefani respectively. They will be providing help and assistance to the participating candidates.

However, the decision to choose which artist heads to the Playoff round will be made solely by the judges. This round will be the last round before the live shows will begin.

"Contestants are selected through public auditions and trained by a panel of four coaches who guide and critique their performances in an attempt to discover America's next great voice."

Sting and Jennifer Hudson join The Voice season 26 judging panel as the Mega Mentors

For the second round of the singing competition series, two new artists will be joining The Voice season 26 coaches. They will help the contestants and provide them guidance throughout the Knockout Rounds, the second stage on the NBC show.

Jennifer Hudson is a talk show host and Academy Award winner. This hasn't been the first time she has been on The Voice, Jennifer has appeared as a coach before and is now an alum. Sting, on the other hand, has been popular since the 80s being part of the famous English band The Police.

However, Sting is now a solo artist alongside being a singer, songwriter, and guitarist.

Hudson is known for her time in the music industry as she has won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony awards. Back in 2006, she was part of the movie Dreamgirls and has also appeared on the NBC show, Smash.

In her music career, viewers might remember The Gift of Love, which includes a series of her original Christmas song collections.

Hudson has been on The Voice as a coach from season 6 till 8 in the UK version. For the US version of the show, she appeared as a mentor on season 13 as well as season 15.

As mentioned before, Sting started his career in a band that rose to fame with their hit songs such as Roxanne, Don't Stand So Close to Me, Every Breath You Take, and Message in a Bottle. The band first blew up in the UK and then received worldwide recognition through the originality of the songs.

In 1984, the brand was no longer there and Sting started out as a solo artist. Since then he has received 17 Grammy Awards.
