“There were so many tears”: Selling Sunset star Chelsea chimes in on life after divorce from Jeff Lazkani

Selling Sunset, season 8 premiered on September 6 on Netflix. The 11-episode show chronicled the lives of real estate agents of the Oppenheim group in Los Angeles. The group, founded by Jason and Brett Oppenheim, deals in opulent real estate listings in and around Los Angeles and San Diego.

Along with the Oppenheim brothers, the cast had 8 talented ladies who ran their personal and professional lives at the edge of the show. The cast includes Chrishell Stause, Mary Fitzgerald, Emma Hernan, Amanza Smith, Chelsea Lazkani, Bre Tiesi, Nicole Young, and Alanna Gold. The show ended with a mix tune, citing new beginnings for some and heartbreak for others.

Chelsea Lazkani had discovered her husband's infidelity, which led her to break off her marriage in the end. In the last episode of Selling Sunset, Chelsea took out a wedding ring and hinted towards a new chapter in her life. On September 9, 2024, Chelsea joined Brice Sander for an interview on ET. She opened up about her decision to divorce her husband Jeff Lazkani and her relationship with fellow Selling Sunset ladies, especially Bre, Emma, and Chrishell.

Brice Sanders asked Chelsea about how she was doing now, after so much chaos that had happened. Chelsea said:

"I, never thought I would get to where I am right now because there were so many sad and dark days and so many tears, so much angst and frustration. And I could sit here today and say, yes. You see a more evolved person and maybe someone that's a little bit more demure."

Chelsea Lazkani opened up about her divorce and her Selling Sunset journey.

Selling Sunset Season 8 has made its mark and fans loved yet another season of the real estate reality TV show. Chelsea Lazkani, a real estate agent and one of the cast members, took to an interview on September 9, Monday, conducted by ET's Brice Sander, to share about her journey on the Selling Sunset. Chelsea discussed her separation from her husband, revealed during this season of Selling Sunset.

Chelsea also revealed where she stood in her relationship with Bre, and cast members of the show. Chelsea shared about her kids in the interview and said they are doing great and are loved by the people around them. She also opened up about her current equation with her estranged husband, Jeff, and said:

" I think that my husband, my ex-husband, didn't decide to be in the public limelight. And I think that as 2 people who love our children so much, it's best that I just respect his privacy."

Later, in the interview, Brian asked Chelsea what exactly happened when Bre revealed the news of Jeff cheating on her. Chelsea told the interviewer that she did not trust Bre's intention and how she brought the news to light. She wanted that particular news to be out in a manner. She also revealed, that before shooting that scene, she knew what was going to come, and she did not back out because so much of the filming was already done.

So, she stood strong and took the hard pill. She also mentioned Emma and Chrishell being by her side through difficult times and called them true friends. She said:

"I know Chrishell and Emma have been by my side through some of my hardest moments over the last 6 months. They would never ever in their lives do anything to put me at any type of risk mentally or physically or, they just care about me a lot, and I care about them a lot. And they care about me when the cameras are off, so I don't I don't really care about the hearsay"
