Big Brother season 26 Week 7 was full of surprises, especially when it was revealed that Tucker's journey on the show had ended. Tucker was one of the strongest players in the house; he had been an AI instigator and before that was the Head of the Household. With his power, Tucker made decisions to clear his path and also eliminated Brooklyn in the process during his time as the HOH.
He also had the power of the veto and was hopeful to stay in the competition till the very end. Unfortunately, Tucker's plans were crushed after he was evicted from the house when Quinn won the Head of Household competition and took over T'kor's position.
In an interview with Parade on August 31, 2024, Tucker revealed why he chose to disclose his showmance with Rubina with his AI instigator power. The Big Brother star shared that it was to target Quinn and was hence a strategy. He implied that Quinn can't be trusted, and that is the new HOH's impression on other houseguests as well. Tucker further stated:
"It was to sort of put a target back on Quinn. Because he was there and did see it, and they weren't trusting him, and they shouldn't be trusting him in the game, obviously."
Tucker's opinion of Quinn on Big Brother season 26
The Big Brother season 26 star expressed his disappointment with how early his journey in the BB house concluded. When the interviewer asked him how he was doing, Tucker said he was "still in shock" but wanted Quinn to be in the similar position that got him evicted. Tucker continued:
"It's bittersweet, I'm still in shock. I hope Quinn gets put up on that block soon."
Describing Quinn, Tucker called him a snake in reference to the protection he had provided the new HOH. Despite the Big Brother contestant calling his fellow cast member a backstabber, he mentioned that Quinn was a great player who knew how to strategize in a clever way. Tucker hinted at Quinn not being trustworthy once again; he said:
"Snake, ungrateful. But probably the most well thought out player in there, and deceiving. He knows what it takes, and he's got all the qualities of it. Untrustworthy, but a great player."
Looking back at the situation in which he put himself, Tucker explained that offering himself as the pawn was his decision. He stated that he was familiar with the AI arena competitions and had mastered winning most of them. Tucker also highlighted his bond with T'kor, who was his alliance. He explained:
"I wanted to be a gentleman, and I offered it to two people that I was not in an alliance with. So I'm in an alliance with her. She has the most contagious, joyous, celebratory happiness. I know that she's a very empathetic person, and I just wanted to offer it so she knew she had that comfort padding if she needed it."
The upcoming episodes will reveal how Quinn's power will change the house dynamics and the previous structure of the alliances.
