"This just gets worse"— The Circle star Rachel chimes in on swapping profiles with Madelyn

The Circle season 7 aired episodes 5 to 8 this week on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. The segment saw the cast members continue on their journey to become the ultimate top influencer and the winner of $100,000.

The latest batch of episodes started with Madelyn and Debbie aka Rachel as they were informed they had to exchange profiles until the next blocking. After swapping profiles, they had a private chat to strategize from being blocked. Madelyn told Rachel that she and Andy had a close relationship and asked her to try to be as "inappropriate" with him as possible.

"Oh, this just gets worse," Rachel said.

Rachel told Madelyn that they should tell their alliances that they could "trust" each other. She suggested they stay positive. Although Madelyn didn't want to, she realized she didn't have an option since Rachel was going to be Madelyn for the foreseeable future.

Rachel and Madelyn's private chat in The Circle season 7 episode 5 explored

In The Circle season 7 episode 5, titled, Circle Wedding Crashers, Debbie, catfishing as Rachel and Madelyn were informed they had to exchange profiles and impersonate one another until the next blocking. Madelyn was worried about Rachel talking to Andy as her, and said that he would know that "something" was up.

Rachel, who was a catfish, was worried about having to exchange profiles and said that she was a catfish who had to further catfish. She said she was "catfished squared."

"I am double catfish," Rachel said.

The Circle star invited Madelyn to a private chat. She felt that if either of them messed up, they would both get blocked from the Netflix show. She told Madelyn that it was "insane" and suggested they worked together to stay in the game. The latter felt they needed to give each other "all the facts" about their alliances.

Rachel asked about Madelyn's alliances and conflicts and told her about her dynamics with the rest of The Circle season 7 cast. She said that Gianna was her "number one" and said that Jadejha was part of #TripleThreat with both of them. Madelyn was confused about #TripleThreat and wondered where she was in the alliance.

"My beef is with #TheBros. Andy did not appreciate me being #ThatB*tch. And Kevin is sus. I don't trust him," Rachel wrote.

Madelyn stated that Rachel had "beef" with everyone that she liked. She messaged the cast member that she figured that Gianna was her priority since she stood up for her in episode 4's group chat. She further told Rachel that Andy was her #CircleHusband" and that their couple name was "#Andelyn." She apologized in advance about how "spicy" the chats could get.

Debbie aka Rachel was concerned about chatting with Andy as Madelyn. She explained that the last time she sent a "sexy photo was of her and their dogs to ask when he would come to bed. She told Madelyn that they should stay positive and reassure each other's alliances that they could trust one another.

Madelyn chimed in about Kevin and said that she and The Circle season 7 star had a "good conversation" recently. She added that she hadn't felt "sus vibes" from him yet. She told Rachel she thought they needed to get their alliances on each other's sides, "gently and naturally."

Rachel felt that she was the only person who felt that there was "something off" about Kevin. Chiming in on her conversation with Madelyn, Rachel said they gave each other a "fighting chance."

"I'm so glad I've got this chance to get to know you. Good luck tomorrow "Rachel", I promise to do my best. #IllGetDownAndDirty," Rachel wrote.

The two left the chat feeling optimistic about their chances and Madelyn said she needed Rachel to take off her "halo" and put some "devil horns on." Rachel stated it was "a lot" and needed a "good night's sleep."
