W.A.G.s to Riches debuted on Netflix on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. Episode 5, titled What's Up with My Prenup? saw Sharelle and her fiancé Chad's relationship hit a rough patch after they clashed during their prenup negotiation. Chad was taken aback by Sharelle's infidelity clause, according to which he had to pay a $500,000 penalty in case he cheated.

The proposed clause not only disappointed Chad but also made him wonder if Sharelle was even ready to tie the knot. He voiced his disapproval, saying:

"This makes no sense... Because this basically tells me she's really not ready to get married."

The W.A.G.s to Riches couple also disagreed on other subjects, including alimony and business shares. While Sharelle claimed she deserved 25% of Chad's podcast, Night Cap, Chad demanded 25% of her real estate agency, Allure Realty. Both disagreed to oblige, stating that their partners had no contribution in their success.

Earlier in the episode, Sharelle celebrated her business' partnership with LPT Realty and expressed excitement over growing her company into a nationwide name.

"That's non-negotiable" — W.A.G.s to Riches star Chad's attorney Lazaro refuses to discuss his client's podcast

Episode 5 of W.A.G.s to Riches saw Sharelle and Chad meet with their attorneys for a prenup negotiation. Before the discussion commenced, Sharelle took to a confessional, to reveal that their wedding's potential date was February 2, 2025. Although excited to start a new chapter with Chad, Sharelle wanted to settle a prenup before tying the knot to avoid complications later.

Their first topic of discussion was alimony. Sharelle proposed that Chad pay $3 million every year on their wedding anniversary in case their marriage fell apart.

"I don't like that. We would definitely have to counter," Chad remarked.

When Sharelle's attorney, Megan inquired what number they had in mind, Lazaro said his client should not have to pay anything above $15,000 per month. However, Megan objected, noting that alimony depended on income and Sharelle did "really well for herself." Chad even pointed out that Sharelle earned more than him at that point in time.

Watching the couple argue, Lazaro asked Sharelle if she would consider waiving alimony altogether. Sharelle disagreed while Chad refused to accept her ask. After they failed to reach an agreement, Megan brought up the next topic of discussion, which was Chad's podcast, Night Cap. Upon hearing that, Lazaro said:

"That's non-negotiable. The podcast is not gonna be touched."

He added that it was a self-grown business that Chad ran with his partners. At that point, Sharelle mentioned she was one of his partners, but Chad disagreed.

When he revealed Sharelle was not "contractually signed" to them, Megan asked if she had not contributed to the success of his podcast. Chad explained that although she was featured on his podcast, he would not term that as a "contribution."

"Just being your wife is a contribution," Megan protested.

Sharelle then disclosed that she was with Chad even before the podcast started, implying that she helped him grow his company into a succesful one. In contrast, when Chad demanded a percentage of Sharelle's business, she firmly declined, saying she created her company before they got together.

Since both W.A.G.s to Riches stars wanted 25% of each other's companies, Lazaro suggested they waive the clause. However, Sharelle refused to. When he suggested she take 1%, Megan stated Sharelle would not get married if it was that low.

Tensions reached a boiling point when Megan brought up the infidelity clause, making Chad wonder if Sharelle was prepared for marriage. Later in the series, Sharelle revealed that they decided to put their marriage on hold since they could not reach an agreement.
