Too Hot to Handle season 6 episode 7: Are Joao and Flavia still together?

Too Hot to Handle season 6 released episodes 5-7 on Friday, July 26, 2024. In an environment that constantly attempted to entice the contestants to give in to their temptations, some managed to overcome the hurdles and remain fixated on their partners.

One such couple was Joao and Flavia. Ever since Flavia joined the cast as a newcomer in episode 2, she remained with Joao without wanting to explore other options. In episode 7, Joao confessed his feelings to his Too Hot to Handle partner, wishing to consolidate their relationship.

The same episode put multiple relationships in a turbulent phase. Katherine and Demari worried about the fate of their relationships after their respective partners were sent on different blind dates. On the other hand, some singles waited for the right moment to sever others' connections and forge their own.

Amidst all the chaos of episode 7, Flavia and Joao remained together.

"I like you" — Too Hot to Handle star Joao confesses his feelings to Flavia in episode 7

Too Hot to Handle season 4 alum Flavia, the self-proclaimed "Peruvian princess," returned to season 6 to give love another shot. After facing betrayal in her season, Flavia was excited to find a compatible partner.

"I'm excited about this second chance. I'm here to get my man," said Flavia.

She immediately caught the attention of Jordan and Joao, both of whom were ready to counter each other to get the lady they fancied. Joao thought Flavia was "gorgeous" and revealed he would do anything to keep her away from Jordan.

Flavia was attracted to Jordan's gentlemanly personality but soon realized he lacked the qualities she wanted in a man. After spending an uncomfortable date with Jordan, where the latter talked about the wind, Flavia decided to explore her connection with Joao.

As night fell, Flavia climbed into Joao's bed, marking him as the man she wanted to couple up with. Heartbroken by the rejection, Jordan left the show in episode 3. Ever since then, Joao and Flavia have remained together.

In episode 3, Flavia struggled to open up to Joao during the energy re-channeling workshop. However, Joao used the moment to show his Too Hot to Handle partner that he could support her during difficult times.

"This is perfect because it's a great opportunity to support her, and really show her that, you know, I'm like a good guy, super genuine," said Joao.

Although Flavia broke some of Lana's rules by indulging in intimate activities with Joao, she was outperformed by Too Hot to Handle season 5 alum, Louis. He had entered the retreat alongside her and immediately formed a connection with one of the cast members, breaking several rules. Since Louis failed to "set an example" for the other cast members, Lana was compelled to evict him from the show.

After that elimination, Joao and Flavia's feelings for each other strengthened. Worried he would lose Flavia, Joao wanted to utilize the "limited time" and confess his genuine feelings to Flavia. In the meantime, Flavia revealed how tense she felt about the elimination.

"It's crazy because I feel like Louis could have been me, you know? Because I came to, like, set an example and I kind of failed that test a little," stated Flavia.

Her Too Hot to Handle partner reassured her that she was different from Louis because, ever since she paired with him, she did not steer her attention anywhere else. He grabbed the opportunity and professed his feelings.

"I like you. I like you so much that today I feel like if you were the one to be chosen to leave, I would have probably just left with you," confessed Joao.

Flavia reciprocated his feelings and mentioned that she would have done the same since he was the "motive" she was there for. Approving the emotional connection the duo developed, Lana gave them the green light, allowing them to kiss each other without worrying about breaking the rules.

Joao and Flavia embraced and shared a passionate kiss.

"I always knew we had a connection and this green light is reassuring," said Joao.

On the other hand, Flavia confessed she was "into Joao," but worried that she might jeopardize their relationship. In the preview of the upcoming episodes, Flavia was seen getting close with newcomer Jalen, upsetting Joao.
