Too Hot to Handle season 6 has come to a bittersweet end with its third installment, i.e. episodes 8 to 10 released on August 2. The last episodes of the series not only crowned the winner but saw grave shifts in the dynamics of the relationships in the villa.
In episode 9, Lana sent all the couples on dates, except for Chris and Sabrina, who broke the rules by kissing the night before. They had a small outing in the villa.
Bri and Demari went on an outdoorsy date where Demari asked Bri to be his girlfriend. Charlie and Katherine had a beach date, where Charlie assured her he wanted no one else. Joao and Flavia's date ended badly with Joao breaking up with her because she flirted with Jalen.
How did the dates on episode 9 of Too Hot to Handle season 6 go down?
Before going on his date with Bri, Demari sat down with his Too Hot to Handle bestie, Chris, and told him he wanted to ask Bri if she would like to be his girlfriend but was scared. Chris was happy for him and even congratulated him.
In a confessional, Bri said she didn't fully trust Demari after he kissed Valentina and needed more reassurance. On their date, Demari promised to be "100%" committed to her and asked her to be his girlfriend. She said yes.
On Charlie and Katherine's date, Katherine asked if they would continue seeing each other despite the long distance. Charlie said he wanted to "treat" her "right" and make things work between them.
Katherine then said that she had caught feelings for him even when she had not intended. Both Charlie and Katherine and Bri and Demari got green lights at the end of their dates which made them kiss their respective partners.
Before Joao and Flavia went on their date in Too Hot to Handle episode 9, things weren't going great because Joao felt distant. This was because Flavia had flirted with Jalen in episode 8 of the show. While on their date, Flavia said she needed her time with Jalen to realize she had feelings for Joao. She told him how much she cherished the moments she spent with Joao.
Joao on the other hand said that her choice to flirt with Jalen had hurt him. He said that he had thought of them as a strong couple, so it felt bad to know that she wasn't sure enough to make that move. He then began to sing a song he wrote for Flavia, which had the lyrics,
"Is our time up now?"
He then declared that he could no longer continue with her because he didn't trust her. Back at the Too Hot to Handle season 6 villa, Chris and Sabrina also had a little pool date. Chris told her that he had never sought commitment, but after seeing the couples in the villa, and the workshops that pushed him to be true to himself, he wanted a serious relationship.
All 6 seasons of Too Hot to Handle are available to stream on Netflix.
