Too Hot to Handle season 6 premiered on Friday, July 19, 2024, with episodes 1-4. Cast members arrived at the retreat knowing they had to avoid giving in to temptations. Any form of disobedience would not go unnoticed by host Lana. Every time they broke a rule in the retreat, money would be deducted from their $250,000 prize fund.
While everyone else focused on physical appearances and attraction, Too Hot to Handle season 6 star Jordan approached the competition emotionally. He developed a connection with alum Flavia in episode 2 and wanted to continue exploring their relationship. However, he felt betrayed when she chose co-star Joao over him.
In episode 3, Jordan left the retreat, admitting he did not have the right mindset for the show. He struggled to internalize Flavia's rejection and thought it would be best to head home.
Jordan's journey on Too Hot to Handle season 6
In episode 1, cast members were introduced to Bad Lana, Lana's counterpart. Known as the rule-breaker, Bad Lana granted the contestants the much-coveted leeway to act however they wanted.
She further declared that they would not be fined, no matter how many rules they broke. However, Lana soon returned, disrupting the freedom the contestants were given. In Lana's absence, Too Hot to Handle cast member Jordan forged a connection with co-star Gianna.
Jordan and Joao competed against each other from the start since both of them were attracted to Gianna. However, Jordan took control of the situation by kissing her first.
"Oh Joao, I'm so sorry. She's mine now. If you snooze, you lose. Gnarly," said Jordan.
However, when Jordan saw Gianna choose Joao over him in a kissing challenge, he decided to pursue someone else. In episode 2, Lana introduced two new singles — Flavia from Too Hot to Handle season 4 and Louis from Too Hot to Handle season 5 — to the cast members. Jordan was immediately attracted to Flavia.
"Flavia was my type to a T. She's s*xy, man. I know Joao is going to be really into her, but this time, I'm ready," said Jordan.
While speaking to the cameras, Flavia confessed that Jordan looked like a "genuine guy." However, she also admitted she was "tempted" by all the men. In a private conversation with Flavia, Jordan shared how men should treat women. Flavia was impressed by Jordan's demeanor, but she did wonder if he was any "fun."
"Girls are like a taste of heaven. No matter the circumstance, treat them like angels," said Jordan.
Flavia picked Jordan for a date but soon regretted her decision. She stared in disbelief as he spoke about the wind and revealed that he still lived with his parents. She thought the Too Hot to Handle cast member was a "bit strange."
"I'm starting to wonder if choosing the nice guy was the right decision," said Flavia.
Jordan was sure Flavia would choose him by night's end, but the latter felt uncertain. She thought it would be best to keep her options open. Meanwhile, Joao swept in and tried to convince Flavia to choose him. She ultimately chose Joao, upsetting Jordan.
"I don't know what to do. I definitely feel emotional. I'm a sensitive guy, so what can I say?" said Jordan.
The following day, Flavia told Jordan she wanted them to be friends since she was not romantically interested in him. Jordan struggled to keep calm, watching Joao and Flavia get intimate in an "energy" challenge in episode 3. The more he saw them together, the more uncomfortable he felt. This made him want to leave.
"I expected to come into this retreat like, maybe get what I wanted, and Flavia was everything I was genuinely looking for," said Jordan.
When Lana gathered the Too Hot to Handle cast members at the cabana, Jordan revealed he was quitting the show, which shocked Flavia.
"I fall too hard for people, and when I fall hard, you know, I get upset. And, um, what I'm looking for is not in this retreat," said Jordan.
He confessed that the retreat pushed him to his limit, and he felt the need to return home. Meanwhile, Flavia contemplated the way she treated Jordan.
"I really feel sad. I feel, like, it's all my fault," said Flavia.
Too Hot to Handle season 6 will return with episodes 5-7 on July 26 only on Netflix.
