The sixth season of Too Hot to Handle is back with its latest episodes, released on Netflix on July 26. The AI show host, Lana, tries to help contestants form meaningful connections, which led to a mix of twists and tensions. The grand prize of $250,000 served as motivation for contestants to win the show.
In episodes 5-7, the new arrivals Valentina, Cristian, Jalen, and Sabrina stirred up the connections in the villa, leading to a lot of dynamic shifts between the contestants. On the other side, Charlie, who was with Lucy, and Katherine, who was with Louis, went through a recoupling, leading Charlie and Katherine to form a connection with each other, causing disappointment to their current partners.
The eliminations of contestants Kylisha and Louis made all the others more aware of their actions in the retreat. Bad Lana appeared yet again in episode 7, giving a free pass of 24 hours to the new arrivals, Jason and Sabrina.
New arrivals shake up the connections in the villa of Too Hot to Handle
The new arrival in episode 5, Valentina, chose to go on a date with Demari. Their date went better than Demari thought, and he ended up kissing Valentina, costing the group $6,000. This made Bri angry, and she decided not to move forward with her relationship with Demari.
This situation was recreated when Bri was chosen to go on a date with Jalen, a new arrival in episode 7. Demari thought it was instant karma. Jalen, who had a free pass from Lana for the next 24 hours, made a move on Bri. Episode 7 ended with a cliffhanger on whether Bri kissed Jalen or not. This would be known to the viewers in the upcoming episodes.
Another new arrival of episode 5 of Too Hot to Handle, Sabrina, decided to go on a date with Charlie. Charlie, who is currently with Katherine, was worried if the new arrival was hotter than Katherine. To his surprise, Sabrina looked like a doppelganger of Katherine.
Charlie and Katherine's Connection in Too Hot to Handle
Charlie and Katherine broke up with their respective partners, Lucy and Louis, to explore their connection. Lana, who decided to test their bond, sent Charlie on a date with a new arrival, Sabrina. Charlie did not break any rules on the date and came back to the villa to introduce Sabrina to the other guys.
Charlie told Katherine that nothing happened on the date, although he was not completely honest with her. On the date, he did flirt with Sabrina and got a back massage from her. Charlie was skeptical to tell this to Katherine, thinking it might hurt her.
Rule breaks and remaining cash prize in Too Hot to Handle
In episode 5, the couples Flavia and Joao and Louis and Katherine broke multiple rules. This reduced the cash prize to $137,000. The rule breaks caused tension in the villa as the prize money was reduced to almost half of the initial prize pot.
In episode 6, Katherine and Charlie kissed, and this further caused the prize to reduce by $6,000. At the end of episode 7, the cash prize stood at $131,000. In the trailer for the upcoming episodes of Too Hot to Handle, there were highlights of multiple rule breaks, which can further reduce the cash prize.
Fans can watch the next set of episodes of Too Hot to Handle, 8-10, on Netflix, releasing on August 2, 2024.
