Tigerlily and Adnan's relationship problems have escalated since she returned from Jordan nearly two months ago. Although they tied the knot during her trip, their long-distance relationship has been marked by increasing tension, particularly around Adnan’s growing "list" of demands.
The Oct. 27 episode of Before the 90 Days captured a particularly heated moment when Tigerlily opened up to her friend Cruz about the stress Adnan was causing.
“When I first got back from Jordan, I was a happy newlywed,” Tigerlily explained in a confessional, but things quickly took a turn.
“It feels like he has a rule about every single thing in my life, and we just keep running into issue after issue.”
This sense of restriction has led to frustration on both sides. Tigerlily shared with Cruz that one of their latest disagreements revolved around her chiropractor appointments.
According to Tigerlily, Adnan was upset that she had a male chiropractor and sent her a video on social media to question if she was comfortable with that.
Why was it an issue?
The issue of Tigerlily’s chiropractor appointments sheds light on the larger problem in their relationship in Before the 90 Days: Adnan’s strict rules regarding interactions with men. “He wants me to change them and have all women,” Tigerlily said, frustrated by the idea that her health choices were being dictated.
“It’s not just like not shaking someone’s hand or not wearing some revealing top. This is my health.”
Adnan’s alleged jealousy and desire to control certain aspects of Tigerlily’s life have been a recurring theme throughout their time on Before the 90 Days.
From questioning her clothing choices to monitoring who she interacts with, the rules have piled up. Tigerlily handed over a large bag of clothing to Cruz that Adnan didn’t approve of, further emphasizing the extent of his demands.
Cruz, concerned about his friend, didn’t hold back. “That’s not normal,” he said, pointing out that Adnan’s behavior could be seen as manipulative.
Tigerlily also seemed to suspect that Adnan was playing up certain situations to gain her sympathy. When she didn’t answer his calls one morning, Adnan ended up in the hospital, claiming he had “breathing problems and dizziness.”
“I also think he’s playing it up a little bit to get some sympathy from me because this is just a little much,” Tigerlily reflected.
The upcoming “Baby-Making” trip in Before the 90 Days
Despite their ongoing issues, Tigerlily was preparing to meet Adnan in Turkey for what she referred to as a “baby-making” trip. However, even this had its complications.
The trip was originally planned as an opportunity for the couple to try to conceive, given Tigerlily’s age and the limited time they have together due to their long-distance arrangement.
“With us only seeing each other every two months, how do I know that time when we see each other is going to be a good fertility window for us?” she explained. “And so we’re really limited.”
Cruz was skeptical about whether the timing was right for the couple to have children, given their ongoing problems. In a confessional, Cruz shared,
“I really do feel like they love each other, but I don’t know if that’s going to be enough,”

Tigerlily’s frustration with Adnan continued to grow in Before the 90 Days during her flight to Turkey. Another argument erupted when she noticed Adnan had posted a shirtless photo of himself on social media. She said,
“So now, it’s just added to the list of all the things to talk about.”
Meanwhile, Adnan remained hopeful that once they reunited, Tigerlily would “forget everything” and be happy to see him. “I think she will be so happy,” he predicted, brushing aside the growing list of issues in their relationship.
