“Trollious Maximus”- Jersey Shore Family Vacation star Mike reacts to Angelina and Vinny’s social media drama

Jersey Shore Family Vacation saw a new drama as it released its latest episode on Thursday, September 26, 2024. The fans are accustomed to some controversy when it comes to the castmates. Recently, however, Angelina and her boyfriend, Vinny "2.0" Tortorello, found themselves in conflict regarding Angelina using burner accounts to comment on social media.

An aggrieved Vinny outed Angelina because she commented on their relationship in January. On Instagram, she stated as a third person that Vinny has been with her for two years, but only for the show and the fame it provided him. Vinny didn't hold back and commented about his side of the story on social media.

Seeing these developments, the rest of the cast of Jersey Shore Family Vacation reacted to the peculiar situation with shock. Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino also responded to the drama by pointing out the absurdity behind Angelina making burner accounts.

"What the hell? Angelina is exposing 2.0 for not being around for her root canal while he goes to the gym. Angelina is what is known as Trollious Maximus," stated Mike.

Angelina suggests she has abandonment issues on Jersey Shore Family Vacation

The couple initially argued on Jersey Shore Family Vacation because Vinny didn't visit Angelina and missed her root canal while he was in the gym. Due to the pain, the latter missed out on the Super Bowl and accused Vinny of not paying enough attention to her during her time of need.

"I kind of freaked out because Vin left for four hours. I was like, 'Where is Vin? Where is Vin?' He was at the gym and he was getting a manicure and a pedicure at the Freehold mall. I let it get the best of me and I should have never went on social media," said Angelina.

In the aforementioned episode, Angelina and Vinny met in the kitchen area and shared their grievances. Vinny felt regretful and apologized for "clapping back" at her. He further expressed that he wants to be there for Angelina despite the history and knows that deep down, Angelina feels the same way.

When Vinny expressed that he didn't want a repeat of the events, Angelina became emotional. She revealed that things have been tough lately as she planned to move to Marlboro, New York, in a townhouse.

She revealed that she has had abandonment issues since childhood, as her dad left her when she was young. Vinny not coming to the root canal appointment triggered the same emotions and Angelina accepted that she shouldn't have reacted the way she did. Vinny reassured her and stated he would never abandon her.

However, Angelina's father was later found through a genealogist and appeared in the show.

Angelina missed roomies' trip to Las Vegas on Jersey Shore Family Vacation

Due to the incident, Angelina missed the roomies' trip to Las Vegas, where they were supposed to attend DJ Pauly DelVecchio's set in the Celebrity Flag Football Challenge. Jersey Shore Family Vacation's team could not refer to the Super Bowl by its name due to copyright issues.

Pauly rented a house in Las Vegas because he was concerned about the roommates wrecking his personal house, which he shared with Nikki Hall. Before everyone arrived, Pauly filled the house with Jersey Shore memorabilia and told them that this was his house. Many were left surprised by the memorabilia, especially Jenni, who "did not know Pauly liked us this much."
