Love After Lockup season 5 gave a glimpse into the lives of couples who are in a long-distance relationship. One cast member from each couple is in prison or has previously been in prison. Rob and Tia were introduced as a couple who developed an emotional bond over phone calls during the past eight months. Now that Rob is about to get released within 45 days, the love birds have been planning their future.
In the newly released December 13, 2024 episode, Tia told the cameras she was excited to see Rob soon, and she stated they both had a "twin flame connection." She continued:
"Rob is my man, Rob and I have a twin flame connection. He is my divine counterpart. Our se*ual chemistry is extremely good."

Tia opens up about her relationship on Love After Lockup season 5 episode 51
On Love After Lockup season 5 episode 51, Tia shared that she formed an emotional connection with Rob eight months before. During her confessional interview, she told the cameras that her cousin is married to Rob's sister, and that is how they both got introduced to one another. She continued:
"My cousin is married to Rob's sister. It's been eight months since me and Rob had our first conversation over the phone."
Rob was excited to meet Tia soon as he was about to get out of prison in 45 days. In the Love After Lockup episode, they were both seen discussing over call their plans once Rob came home. The latter shared that one of his major goals was to get his life back on track and start a future with Tia together. He also mentioned that on the very first day, he plans to meet his family and cook for them. He said:
"I'm excited for us to be together, you know, and start our life together. Like, the very first day I told you, I wanna have the family over and cook."
Upon hearing this, Tia said she wanted to know why he was in a hurry to meet the family, as she wanted to have some alone time with Rob for the first two days. In her confessional interview, Tia told the producers she had trauma from her past relationships, which is why she was scared of heartbreak. Tia said that if her relationship with Rob ended, she wouldn't be able to open her heart to someone new. Tia continued:
"I have to really like calm down because I am completely vulnerable. I do carry trauma with me from past relationships, if he hurts me, I think I couldn't get into a relationship probably for the rest of my life."
