90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 7 episode 9 premiered on October 27 on TLC. Titled Things Fall Apart the episode featured Chidi and Rayne spending some time apart reflecting on their relationship.
Chidi was heartbroken and surprised when Rayne disrespected his family during her recent visit. He was stressed about the incident and it affected his sleep. He added:
"It was such an unbelievable and unexpected event. As if the fabric of love and unity I have ever craved for between Rayne and my family was ripped to shred. Which is heartbreaking and heart-wrenching."

90 Day Fiancé star further expressed in his confessional, that his heart was torn about Rayne because he believed that he was partially responsible for what happened. He felt that his actions and decisions contributed to her frustration. However, he stated her lack of respect for his family was unacceptable.

Later in 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 7, episode 9, Chidi has a candid conversation with his family about Rayne and shares his thoughts on their relationship and the direction he hopes to take moving forward.
Chidi's brother-in-law Bernard asked him about his current status with his partner. The 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star responded one thing that he knew for sure was that his "utmost desire" was to get Rayne back.
Bernard expressed his concern for his brother-in-law., reminding him that they loved him and questioning why he was putting himself in such a difficult situation. Chidi explained that his feelings toward his 90 Day Fiancé partner were not just a feeling of affection but also a feeling of compassion. He added:
"You know, when I first met Rayne, she told me about her previous relationship that was toxic. That she was mistreated. That nobody has ever respected nor loved her nor cared about her. So, when she told me I promised her that I will always... be there for her."
The 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star shared that, having lost his sight, he deeply understands the love and compassion of others and how profoundly it can uplift one's soul.
Chidi's sister Victoria stated that a man who is in love often forgets many things. Her concern was how easily her brother could forget the pains he had been through.
"There is this war mentality that she has. It's you and me are a team, a team against her. So doesn't believe in this harmony. Are you willing to give up your family? That is what you really have to talk about with her if you want to go ahead with the relationship," Victoria added.
Victoria told her brother that she wouldn't get in his way because she knew how important his partner was to him. She wanted him to get married and be happy; however, she was also concerned about him and where his relationship was taking him.
In her confessional, Victoria shared that she didn't think Rayne was the right person for Chidi. She added:
"Chidi needs love. I wouldn't deny him that. So, I would rather let him go and experience it. Even though it's very hard thing for me to do. Whatever comes I will support him, I will be still there for him, but I will not stand in his way."
