In the Below Deck Mediterranean After Show, the cast crew and sometimes special guests and producers talk about the things that happened in the latest episode. They get to share their perspective on different matters and talk about the stuff they didn't make into the episode. The cast also takes the After Show viewers through the behind-the-scenes antics and conversations.
New cast member Carrie O'Neill joined the Below Deck Mediterranean crew in the middle of their charter. While she was liked by everyone, Ellie Dubaich had some issues. Ellie and Carrie's first day together did not go well. Both stewardesses appeared on the Below Deck Mediterranean After Show season 9 episode 13 and talked about their experience of working with each other.
"There was an underlying mocking tone with Carrie. You know that was her vibe," Ellie said.
Ellie and Carrie O'Neill talk about working with each other on Below Deck Mediterranean
Ellie and Carrie had clashing personalities while working together and were not ready to take orders from each other. On the Below Deck Mediterranean After Show, Carrie said that Ellie felt a bit threatened by her arrival. As a result, she could see that Ellie was trying to project her dominance, however, Carrie said that she didn't care.
"I'm not coming for your job. I could see that she was desperately wanting to tell me that she was second stew. I've been a second stew. I've been a chief stew. I don't care."
After her arrival, Aesha gave Carrie the floating stew position. On the After Show talk, Ellie claimed that, according to her, a floating position is a fourth stew position.
"Rregardless of how much experience you have or whats your rank is elsewhere, you got to adapt to your rank in this environment. So in my eyes, Carrie's job was to assist us. It wasn't her job to cone and supervise us," Ellie said while talking about Carrie.
Kate Chasten was also present on the other part of the After Show episode and gave her opinions on the matter. Kate said anyone who deserves to be the second stew, doesn't care about being the second stew. She added that instead of fighting about their ranks Ellie and Carrie should focus on treating the guest.
Carrie O'Niell's arrival on Below Deck Mediterranean After Show season 9
Carrie O'Neill joined the Below Deck Mediterranean crew in season 9 episode 14. Her arrival was welcomed with open arms and she was greeted well by her new teammates. She introduced herself to everyone and later went to a dinner party with the unit.
When she first arrived on the boat, she met Nathan, busy with his work. He took her luggage and guided her through the boat to the wheeler room where she met Captain Sandy Yawn.
While everyone had a good first impression of Carrie, her new roommate Ellie Dubaich had a different view. After getting ready for the dinner party, Ellie came out to show off her outfit.
Carrie joked about her outfit and said that they should give her a "stripper pole for her stripper heels." The comment rubbed Ellie the wrong way. In her confessional, the stewardess said she would let Carrie get away with the comments since she had just met her.
Below Deck Mediterranean season 9 episode 15 will be released on Monday, September 09, 2024, on Bravo TV.
