The Real Housewives of Potomac season 9 overviews the relationship problems, friendship breakups, and rivalries between the cast as they navigate their professional lives. The cast members for this season include Karen Huger, Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Wendy Osefo, Mia Thornton, Stacey Rusch, Keiarna Stewart, Jacqueline Blak, and Jassi Rideaux.

During the January 26, 2025 episode, Mia addressed Gordon talking about their personal issues with other "acquaintances." Then, Stacey informed Mia about Karen's warnings when she was getting to know Mia as a friend. She also stated that Karen told her to be cautious of Wendy. Upon hearing this Mia felt she was "villainized."

"The thing about it is that I'm furious when someone who I consider my friend uses it to villainize me," she continued.

The Real Housewives of Potomac season 9 episode 16 was released exclusively on Bravo on Sunday. The episode synopsis reads as the following:

"Keiarna and Greg work through their issues together; Inc expresses his frustrations to Mia; Karen decides to bow out of Stacey's event after feeling betrayed and Stacey responds accordingly."

Stacey informs Mia about Karen's statements about her on The Real Housewives of Potomac season 9 episode 16

On The Real Housewives of Potomac season 9 episode 16, Stacey and Mia met each other and discussed about Gordon and Karen. Mia opened up about Gordon getting "triggered" and sharing details of their co-parenting relationship with an "acquaintance." Soon, the conversation shifted toward Karen and Stacey informed Mia about the warnings Karen gave her.

The Real Housewives of Potomac season 9 star stated that Karen told her to "avoid" Mia when she was first introduced to the cast members.

"When I met with Karen, before I was introduced to this group, Karen specifically told me some things about you, how I should avoid you. Because you are not Potomic," Stacey said.

Mia was surprised to hear this, and then Stacey also revealed Karen's thoughts about Wendy. According to Karen, Wendy was "self-absorbed" and advised Stacey not to be friends with her.

"That's a warning she gave me, she also told me that I shouldn't be friends with Wendy. She said that Wendy is completely self-absorbed and that I should never trust her and she's only out for herself," Stacey continued.

Upon hearing this, Mia called Karen a "drunk" and questioned what being a Potomic meant.

"Is it Potomic to be a drunk swaying on barstools? Is it Potomic to crash your car into trees and get repeated DUIs. I haven't been accused of that, so what exactly is Potomic?" she sarcastically told Stacey.

The upcoming episodes will reveal whether Mia will confront Karen about this. Karen had already noticed that Stacey was siding with Mia during their argument. She also felt Mia was playing with everyone's emotions. In the same episode, Mia's boyfriend Inc expressed his frustrations regarding Gordon's involvement in her life. The Bravo reality TV star shared it was difficult to navigate co-parenting with him.

Episode 17 will reveal more of the growing tensions between the cast following the explosive argument between Karen and Mia, as other castmates choose sides.

New episodes of The Real Housewives of Potomac air every week on Sundays exclusively on Bravo at 8 pm ET and the next day on Peacock.
