Love is Blind season 7 introduced viewers to multiple couples who embarked on a journey to establish an emotional connection in the pods. After their engagement, the couples stepped into the real world to navigate family problems, long distances, career aspirations, and adjusting to each other's lives. One of the couples who struggled to maintain their bond from the pods was Nick and Hannah.
In a recent interview with People Magazine on October 16, 2024, Hannah opened up about her experience on the show. Now that she has watched episodes 1 to 11, Hannah shared she could see her flaws and where she went wrong. The season 7 star admitted to talking to Nick in a "very demeaning" way, acknowledging that how she acted toward him "was very cruel." She continued:
"Watching it back, it's a lot ... The way I acted was very cruel and it was very demeaning towards him. I wish I didn't do it in that way."
Elsewhere in the interview, Hannah elaborated upon her realization.
"If I'm still seeing all these issues and I'm just being mean to this man... this is probably not someone that I want to be married to," she said.
Love is Blind season 7 contestant Hannah reflects on her journey on the show
In her interview, Hannah shared that she was "dogging" Nick on the show until she realized they weren't meant to be together. After the Love is Blind contestant saw her soon-to-be husband interact with her friends and family, Hannah understood that they shouldn't continue their relationship.
Admitting to recognizing the "issues" while forming a connection, Hannah elaborated:
"It just all came to [this] realization, we shouldn't be together. They made me realize more [that] they saw what I was seeing, so I didn't feel crazy. I think I was going to make that decision on my own, but it definitely helped to see that and see how he interacted with my friends."
Referring to the scene where Nick couldn't answer questions asked by Hannah's friends, the Love is Blind contestant stated she could see the situation more clearly.
According to Hannah, that conversation played an important role in deciding they had to call things off. However, she clarified she wasn't influenced by someone else's opinion of Nick but identified that her friends could view the situation better from an aerial point of view.
At one point, Hannah felt they both were "bringing out the worst in each other." She admitted to being mean and since she has seen her flaws after rewatching the show, the Love is Blind star has been working towards being a "kinder and a patient" person. She further mentioned:
"By the end of it... it's just the way I say things is not great. And I never realized that. And that's what I realized is just to be kinder and just be more patient. And I think the show taught me a lot of patience, to be honest with you."
