"Very genuine and trustworthy” - Gianna invites The Circle contestant Garret to a group chat

The Circle, a social media reality TV show, focuses on participants forming alliances and saving themselves from elimination. In this series, the contestants compete for the grand prize of $100,000 and want to have the 'top influencer power'. Through this, they can block any player and send them home, but this power is attainable only if the contestant gets the majority votes in their favor.

In episode 4, one of the cast members, Gianna, sent Savannah home with her 'top influencer power'. After this, she made an alliance with Rachel and wanted to add Garret to their team as well.

She invited Garret and Rachel to a private group chat to discuss whether they agreed to have each other's backs in the game. When Garret joined the group chat, he was glad to see Gianna's positive text on the screen. Her text read:

"You seem very genuine and trustworthy, which are the two most important things to me and my girl, Rachel."

The Circle season 7 episode 4, titled Press to Impress, was released exclusively on Netflix on September 11, 2024. The episode synopsis reads:

"A departing player's final message rattles the chat and exposes hidden alliances. Some players bond over family ties as others forge new allies."

Rachel and Gianna plan on allying with Garret on The Circle season 7 episode 4

On The Circle season 7 episode 4, Rachel expressed her excitement that a new member had joined their alliance. Both Rachel and Gianna wanted Garret's word that he would be loyal to them in every situation. Rachel told the cameras what her thought process behind choosing Garret as a potential alliance was:

"I think Garret's gotta see two strong women who are very loyal to each other, and he's gonna want it."

When Garret realized that he already had a good impression in both girls' eyes, he wanted to "solidify that bond." Gianna was impressed by Garret speaking his truth in the group chat and not shying away from saying what was right.

The Circle cast member wanted to form a connection, especially with Gianna, who took "accountability" for her actions. Garret said:

"I wanna make sure Gianna knows that those things are important to me too. Maybe now's the chance to really solidify that bond."

Later in the episode, Kevin invited him to a separate group chat that included Andy as well. Despite wanting to solidify the alliance with the two girls, Garret wanted to see what was going on with Kevin and Andy.

The Circle cast member left the Gianna chat abruptly, which made him "nervous" that he might have joined Kevin's group chat too early.

When Kevin asked Andy if he wanted to include Garret in their alliance as well, Andy was hesitant, he said:

"For sure let's invite Garret, but let's keep him backstage until we get to know him better."

The upcoming episodes will reveal whether Garret will choose to be a part of both groups or if he'll choose to side with Gianna. The first four episodes of The Circle season 7 are available to stream on Netflix.
