W.A.G.s to Riches episode 3 recap: Ashley introduces Alexis to a new guy while the women go for a night out

W.A.G.s to Riches is the latest reality show in the catalog of Netflix that focuses on the wives and girlfriends of athletes and rappers. The show premiered on January 22, 2025, as the cast of women try to prove that they are more than just their famous partners' plus-ones.

As all eight episodes are available to stream, episode 3 saw Ashley try to introduce Alexis to a guy. Later, the women of W.A.G.s to Riches went out, but things didn't go as planned when a divide between the women happened after Stoni's arrival.

What happened in the W.A.G.s to Riches episode 3?

The W.A.G.s to Riches episode 3 kicked off with Mjaé telling Stoni about Porsha's Bad Bxtch Good Mom Mother's Day brunch. Mjaé revealed that she confronted Sharelle and called her a "mean girl" for going against Stoni. In a confessional, Mjaé stated that Stoni was her mother's friend, which made it easier for her to confide in her. She also believed that working in the same industry helped solidify that connection.

"Stoni and I, we both dealt with rappers, so, you know, that's where we connect at," said Mjaé.

Mjaé still expressed her desire for Stoni and Sharelle to move past their differences, as she didn't want to get in the middle of it. According to her, Julz and Stoni were on the same ground due to them getting fired up over matters easily. After their conversation, Mjaé invited Stoni to a night out with the ladies where the rest of W.A.G.s to Riches cast members were about to come.

Before the night out, Alexis met up with Ashley for drinks, where the latter opened up about hoping to switch countries soon. Alexis opened up to Ashley about the difficulties of navigating life as a single woman. Unbeknownst to Alexis, Ashley invited former NFL player Johnathan Cyprien, as the two were single. Ashley also showcased her excitement for Alexis to date again.

The cast of W.A.G.s to Riches later gathered up for a night out. As the ladies adjusted themselves due to lack of space, Stoni, Mjaé, and Kenea, a former Allure agent, stood in front of the bar. Kenea accused Julz of making negative comments about Black women. Julz denied the accusation, and the conversation escalated into a heated argument.

"I make money off of building brands, launching careers, putting people in position to make money. So, I know you don't really know me well because it's the first time we met," said Julz.

Kenea brought up Julz's past consideration of wearing a provocative shirt further fueled the tension. The argument turned physical, and security intervened to separate the two women. Alexis, Ashley, and Sharelle met up for drinks the next day. Sharelle revealed that Julz contacted her after the fight broke out and felt Sharelle was the only one who hadn't contacted her.

Ashley and Alexis immediately claimed that as a lie since they never contacted Julz as well. Sharelle also revealed on W.A.G.s to Riches that she was disappointed with Julz since she didn't take any accountability for the fight. This prompted Ashley to state that it was her MO not to take accountability and conclude that there was a reason people have misconceptions about Julz.

Porsha also discussed the situation with her husband and expressed that the W.A.G.s to Riches star Julz was already aware of the tweets going around the internet. Porsha didn't understand why she would react like that when confronted about the same topic by someone else. She felt it could ruin their reputation as Black entrepreneurs, something they had worked very hard for.
