W.A.G.s to Riches episode 6 recap: Ashley hosts an Alexander Wang charity event while Alexis goes on a date

W.A.G.s to Riches season 1 premiered on Netflix on January 22, 2025. The show released all of its 8 episodes together. Episode 6, titled They Not Like Us, highlighted Julz's fight with Sharelle that took place at Ashley's Alexander Wang charity event.

The episode also saw Sharelle at her real estate office, ready to take the challenge of growing her business. Meanwhile, Alexis was seen going on a date with an ex-NFL player named Johnathan Cyprien, and both of them shared the same views on dating to marry.

At the charity event, Julz accused Sharelle of deliberately bringing up the topic of kids to hurt her because she knew Julz had an abortion earlier that day. The latter denied having done it purposely but Julz wasn't convinced. Towards the end of the episode, Julz met Alexis to discuss her fights but the latter also wanted her to some accountability.

Ashley's Alexander Wang charity event on W.A.G.s to Riches in episode 6

At the start of the episode, Ashley told her husband, Philip, about the charity event she was hosting at Alexander Wang. She told him that she was going to invite all the cast members and explained that a percentage of every purchase would go towards helping homeless veterans.

Then, in a W.A.G.s to Riches confessional, Ashley said:

"I also was a captain in the United States Army. I actually ended up liking the military because I do like to blow stuff up, I do like to shoot guns. At the end of the day, I'm a veteran."

She added that she was grateful for the lifestyle she had and hoped that the girls would spend some money and arrive at the event just like she always showed up for them.

At the event, Alexis shared that she thought their government wasn't doing a good job when it came to protecting the military veterans who served the country. Ashley said in a confessional that she made sure to invite all the important people in Miami so that they would spend the money for a good cause.

Alexis' date on W.A.G.s to Riches episode 6

Alexis went on a date with Johnathan Cyprien, the ex-NFL player. He had set up a beach picnic for her, complete with pillows, flowers, snacks, and drinks. After he greeted Alexis, he told her he picked up some desserts for her sweet tooth

Alexis took to a confessional on W.A.G.s to Riches to say that she dated after she got divorced but "it wasn't amazing." She said that it was because she was accustomed to being with one person, a notion that she had to change to understand "casual s*x" better. She stated that she was again looking for something serious.

She then told Johnathan that she was looking for someone who could keep up with her and it didn't matter if he was an athlete or a non-athlete. Johnathan said athletes tend to get a bad rep, Alexis replied that she understood it because she was an athlete herself and was also married to one earlier. He shared that he hadn't been in a serious relationship for the past three years.

Alexis acknowledged that he was driven and that he had a purpose. He said that at that age in life, he wanted to have a girlfriend and eventually marry her. Alexis agreed and stated that she wanted this to be her marriage that would last forever.

Later, she said in a confessional that she was looking for someone who could be around her kids and her ex-husband. Johnathan then kissed her hand while Alexis said he was making her blush.
