Claim to Fame has already made it to week 4 and it's still hard for the contestants to tell which celebrities their co-stars are related to. Amidst the intensifying competition— hosted by brothers Kevin and Frankie Jonas— episode 4, released on July 31, bid adieu to Naomi after Adam correctly guessed her relative to be the actress Molly Ringwald.
Adam thus won the Guesser's title and secured his place further in the competition. However, Naomi's guess didn't come naturally to him. He took Hud's help to get the clue right. He also revealed that he took Hud's help to uncover Naomi's identity to everyone else, a move which wasn't appreciated by the fans of Claim to Fame.
They took to X to criticize Adam for taking Hud's help to guess correctly. Many of them also criticized his move to reveal it to everyone else because that would make Hud look like a threat.

"Oh noooooo!!! Ugh Hud!!! Not happy… Adam does NOT deserve to be there because he is clueless!!!" said another.
"Devious. Glad she’s gone. But sucks that Adam blabbed about Hud telling him. Goes to show you can only trust someone so far then you get burnt. No one else is gonna help Adam now and he can’t figure out anything on his own," one fan wrote.
"Get Adam and Hud the HELL out of here. Naomi has been working hard on figuring out clues from the start. Adam is constantly begging for scraps and can't figure anything out himself. This sucks," wrote another.
Some Claim to Fame fans thought Adam was playing dumb so he could put a threat on Hud's head and prevail in the game because other contestants would think he couldn't guess them right. Others refused to crown Adam the first Guesser because it wasn't his guess.
"Adam just out a huge target of Hud's back. I think Adam is playing dumb on purpose," one fan wrote,
"Adam is playing. No one is that dumb. Also, calling Hud out on purpose," said another.
"I refuse to think of Adam as the first correct guesser. He was just the puppet for Hud. Let's just say Hud is like Jeff Dunham and Adam is Peanut," one tweet read.
"Oh Hud. Now you get to do all the work while Adam expects you to feed him info," another read.
How did Hud help Adam on Claim to Fame season 3 episode 4?
After four contestants— Bianca, Jill, Gracie, and Miguel were eliminated for wrongly guessing the celebrity relatives of their co-stars, Naomi became the first player to get eliminated in season 3 of Claim to Fame after Adam correctly guessed her celebrity relative.
He did so with the help of Hud, who not only told him that she was related to Molly Ringwald but also told him what got him to think it was her. He told him the breakfast foods clue had led him to think of Molly's film The Breakfast Club.
He also said he got the 'pink ring' clue because certain pink rings are named after the star. He also reminded him of the money on the ground and stacks of money clues which directed toward the star.
New episodes of Claim to Fame season 3 come out on Wednesdays at 9 pm ET, on ABC.
