The newly eliminated Love Island Australia couple, Taylor and Hannah, sat down after episode 28 to reflect on their time in the villa. In the December 13 Instagram video released by the show, the contestants also shared their thoughts on their fellow castmates.
Hannah expressed feeling guilty as she spoke about Sophie. She recalled how she had been in the villa since day one, and when Sophie arrived as a bombshell, she had been rude to her. However, after reflecting on the incident Hannah admitted that she took it all back and now genuinely loves Sophie.
"I feel so bad. But when I was in there, first day, Sophie came in as a bomb. I kind of was a bit mean to her. I take it all back because I f*cking love Sophie to death," she said.
Love Island Australia star Hannah and Taylor share their opinions on their fellow cast mates
Host Sophie Monk revealed at the end of Love Island Australia season 6 episode 28 that Em & Mercedes, Niko & Mia, and Kaylah & Eric were the final three couples. Unfortunately, this meant that Taylor & Hannah and Dylan & Sophie did not receive enough Superfan votes to reach the finale and were dumped from the villa at the end of the episode.
After the episode, Hannah and Taylor shared that they were feeling "pretty good" yet "hungover" after their elimination and their emotions were very high. The couple then participated in the "Honest Island reviews", sharing their honest thoughts on their fellow contestants.
First up was Zane whom Taylor called his "pookie bear." The Love Island Australia star added that Zane was his "big bro" and was proud of him. Meanwhile, Hannah said that Zane was a person who wouldn't do anyone any harm.
Mimi and Hannah had a bit of a rough run in the villa. However, Hannah shared that in the last few weeks, they two got closer. She was thankful for the bonding and called her fellow contestant a "cool chick". Hannah added that she would get a chameleon tattoo in response to Mimi's comment about the same.
"[Mimi] She was like a sister to me in there. We came to each other mainly, for advice, for just deep charts. I thought we were on the same page in many ways. And there was a time when we sort of lost it a little bit, which was sad. I felt like I was sad that I lost my friend," Taylor added.
Like Mimi, Hannah had a "bad run" with Em during the early days. However, as she got to know the contestant she was able to improve their relationship.
Taylor felt that the Em he met on the first day in the villa was different from who she was now. He was glad to have known her and become close to her. However, he added that he "dodged a bullet" considering how Em acted in the past few weeks.
Hannah described Mercedes as a "lovely person," but she felt the Love Island Australia contestant misunderstood her in several situations.
"I think he's a lovely person from what I've witnessed. However, there were a few times where I feel like he didn't really understand my whole situation and he sort of jumped on the bandwagon with everyone else and like put an extra nail in my coffin," Hannah said.
Taylor added that he did not trust Mercedes wholeheartedly and believed that he probably felt the same towards him.
