“Was emotionally distraught"—Love Never Lies: South Africa star Nancy discusses Bohlale and Mia’s connection

Love Never Lies: South Africa reunion aired exclusively on Netflix on December 8, 2024, in which the six couples reunited one year later. Nancy opens up about her relationship on Love Never Lies: South Africa reunion

On Love Never Lies: South Africa reunion, Bohlale shared that he had told Nancy everything about what had happened with Mia on the show. When the host asked the reason behind Bohlale connecting with Mia on emotional, spiritual, and physical levels, he elaborated:

"with Mia, there's a sense of familiarity. And too familiar. It almost felt like a mirror-type situation. It felt like, I've been here. I know this person, this person is me. I became too familiar with that situation and I forgot that there were cams."

According to Bohlale, he and Mia had similar personalities and "a sense of familiarity" with each other. He admitted to even forgetting that there were cameras around when he used to talk to Mia. Later in the episode, Mia joined the remaining Love Never Lies: South Africa cast members. This was the first time Nancy and Mia were meeting each other.

Upon Mia's arrival, Nancy questioned her partner about his infidelity; she asked:

"But then I'm like why? why did you do that? like why? I can't understand, I'm trying to understand."

Then, Mia shared her side of the story and pointed out the lies Bohlale had told Nancy. She stated that they got physically intimate multiple times, not just once as claimed by Bohlale. Mia told Nancy that Bohlale hid the truth from her, and Bohlale admitted his mistake.

Reflecting on her relationship with Bohlale, Nancy discovered that Bohlale didn't tell her the complete truth. The Love Never Lies: South Africa contestant stated he was scared of losing Nancy, which is why he hid that information out of fear. Nancy said:

"He didn't say any of those things. The only part he told me was it happened. It happened like this and this. The way I saw it. This and this and this. That's that. I asked you so nicely, can you please tell me everything? And when I said everything, I meant everything. On camera, off camera, everything. But you didn't."
