The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On season 3 finale aired on December 18, 2024. In this series, six couples parted ways to enter into a trial marriage with their fellow cast members. One of the couples this season, Aria and Scotty went their separate ways to initiate a trial marriage with Caleb and Ziana respectively.
Aria and Scotty faced ups and downs in their relationship after Scotty issued an ultimatum for marriage. Throughout the series, Aria and Scotty wanted to see whether they were compatible to get married in the future.
The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On cast member Aria appeared on The Viall Files: Reality Recap on December 19, 2024. The podcast interview was uploaded on Nick Viall's YouTube channel. In the interview, Aria revealed that Scotty felt "insecure" and had doubts about her connection with Caleb.

According to Aria, Scotty claimed that she wouldn't give him "no s*xual physical touch" and compared Nick and Sandy's bond to theirs. Aria shared that Scotty was focusing on her not giving enough physical touch due to his own insecurity. She further explained:
"He might never admit that but he was feeling insecure because he felt like there was some type of connection that was with Caleb."

In the podcast, The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On cast member Aria shared that she had met Scotty at Coachella. They both soon connected and developed a strong connection while making their long-distance relationship work. Aria admitted that Scotty had to wait for her as she was in nursing school at that time and lived in a different city.
Reflecting on the early days of their relationship, Aria stated that Scotty would "go out of his way" to make an effort to see her, she said:
"The reason I was so into Scotty was because he was so obsessed with me. It wasn't in an unhealthy way, it was in a way of intention, he would go out of his way to see me, we were living in two different cities at that time I was still in nursing school."
Aria explained that Scotty is a "beautiful" human being when he's not triggered. One of the main reasons their relationship couldn't work was due to Scotty's past. The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On star added that Scotty had been cheated on in his previous relationship and that's why Aria had to prove that she wouldn't do it to him. She further elaborated:
"He has baggage of relationships like women cheating on him, and it's just like a lot of things that I had to deal with, and show him that I'm not that. I'm not your past, I'm here, I wanna love you. I just don't think that that was enough because there's internal battles that he's dealing with."
