Love is Blind: UK released its final episode, the reunion special, on Netflix on Monday, August 26, 2024. One year after the wedding, the cast members reunited to reflect on their experience and unveil if they were still together after the show concluded.

Bobby and Jasmine were one of the two couples who tied the knot and maintained their relationship beyond the conclusion of the series. The other couple was Benaiah and Nicole. While the rest failed to survive the test of time, Bobby and Jasmine looked forward to expanding their family.

In an interview with On Demand Entertainment, published on YouTube on August 27, 2024, Bobby and Jasmine revisited their time on the show. Bobby opened up about meeting Jasmine's mother, Marisa.

"It didn't go as smoothly as I would've planned but it wasn't that bad, you know," Bobby said.

The Love is Blind: UK cast member was criticized by Marisa for not having attended college. She questioned his compatibility with Jasmine and wondered if he could provide for her daughter. Despite her doubts, when she saw how strong their connection was, she gave Bobby her blessings and wished them a happy future.

In episode 9 of the Netflix series, Jasmine introduced Bobby to her mother, Marisa. She hoped Marisa could utilize the opportunity to get to know Bobby and grant him her approval. However, things backfired sooner than expected. Once Marisa discovered that the Love is Blind: UK cast member did not have a college degree, she wondered if he was worthy of her daughter.

She called him "uneducated" and urged her daughter to share all her secrets with her. She even discouraged them from relocating abroad, stating she needed Jasmine next to her.

When Bobby recalled the entire scene, he mentioned it was not the worst of his experiences. Although he failed to "smash the first meet," he was glad they could overcome the hurdles and overlook their differences. He revealed he remembered the incident as a fond memory.

"Watching it back, I laughed at it because it's been a long time now and we've gone through so much and we're a lot closer," Bobby stated.

The Love is Blind: UK star confessed "it was a test," which he needed to pass while maintaining a calm demeanor. It was all about how well he handled the pressure.

"I think I passed the test and since then we've got a really good relationship," Bobby said.

Jasmine chimed in and revealed she and her mother discussed the latter's approach. Marisa eventually apologized to Bobby after realizing that he also was someone's son and that making such remarks about his educational background would not be appreciated.

Jasmine stated it was a learning curve for her mother. She also confessed the "trials and tribulations" brought her closer to Bobby and helped solidify their connection.

"The fact that I saw him in that situation and the way he handled the situation made me think, you know what, this is my man. This is the type of man I want around me forever," Jasmine confessed.

The Love is Blind: UK couple then talked about how difficult it had been for them to keep their marriage a secret until the reunion was released. Jasmine admitted she had a "big mouth" and struggled to keep the news under covers. When colleagues at work questioned her about her wedding ring, she would tell them it was a fashion statement.

When asked to name another couple they were invested in, they picked Benaiah and Nicole. They stated it was interesting to watch the two circle back to each other after the rocky start to their relationship.

Bobby revealed he relocated to London to live with his wife, and together they planned on having children and expanding their family.
