Love is Blind: Mexico, a valuable addition to Netflix's international versions, premiered its first four episodes on August 1.
Among the 30 contestants, some relationships culminated in a Love is Blind: Mexico honeymoon. Saul and Leti got engaged and joined the honeymoon phase, hoping to reach the altar.
Other engaged couples namely, Gerado and Fernanda, Willy and Francesca, Fernando and Karen, and Chema and Sylvia also went to the same retreat. Saul had rejected Karen to be with Leti because he thought the latter bore more qualities of an ideal wife. But when he saw Karen in the retreat for the first time, he said:

Saul is "surprised" when he sees his past match Karen for the first time on Love is Blind: Mexico
Saul and Karen had a very deep connection going on for a very long time in the pods. But as he was speaking to her, he was also speaking to Leti and thought she would make a better match for him. He eventually went with Leti and called it quits with Karen.
But when he saw Karen for the first time in the Tulum retreat, in episode 4 of Love is Blind: Mexico, walking alongside Fernando, he said he was surprised by how good-looking she was, and that she had exceeded his expectations when it came to looks.
Karen's reaction to seeing him was the opposite. She said that even if there was a conversation between her and Saul, she didn't like him anymore because she didn't like his voice.
Saul and Karen talk to their respective partners about encountering their past matches on Love is Blind: Mexico
Saul's reaction was followed by a conversation about Karen he had with Leti, the same morning. His now-fiance had gotten curious about his other matches in the pods and demanded to know why he chose her over them.
"I liked her in the beginning but, there were things about her that weren't marriage material," Saul said about Karen.
He said he saw "peace, calm, fun, and affection" in Leti which made him lean more towards her. But as he said this to her, he took to a confessional to say that things weren't where he'd want them to be with Leti. While the other couples had tried testing their physical intimacy with each other, Saul said he hadn't reached that stage yet with Leti and hoped to reach it soon.
Karen and Fernando, on the other hand, were happy with the night they spent together. Karen admitted to having perfect physical chemistry with Fernando and thought no other couples had as much fun as they did.
Fernando asked Karen how she would react if she met Saul. When Karen asked if it would bother him, Fernando admitted he wasn't sure. Karen then mentioned Irais, Fernando's second match, saying it would be awkward if she showed up at the retreat. They haven't discussed it yet, but future episodes might address their past.
Episodes 5 to 8 of Love is Blind: Mexico will be released on August 8 on Netflix.
