Love is Blind: Argentina showcased how single participants formed a connection with their potential partners through their time in the pods. In this social experiment, the couples bonded without seeing one another. Once they were sure of each other, the cast members got engaged and met face-to-face for the first time.
Entering the second stage of the experiment, couples headed to Tulum for a romantic getaway. They figured out whether they were compatible physically or their connection changed from what it was in the pods.
One of the couples on Love is Blind: Argentina, Maria and Mauricio went on a date together and discussed multiple aspects of their relationship. Mauricio said during his confessional interview that he wasn't in a rush to take the next step in his relationship. He shared that he was letting things go smoothly:

Love is Blind: Argentina star Mauricio talks about his connection with Maria in episode 4
In the beginning of Love is Blind: Argentina episode 4, Maria and Mauricio told the cameras that they were looking forward to building a physical connection. Maria shared that she was confident about their bond from the pods and felt they both loved each other.
Talking about the physical intimacy in their relationship, Maria said:
"We created such a beautiful connection in the pods and I feel like, emotionally we both really love each other. And I hope we find that in our physical connection as well."
The Love is Blind: Argentina star Mauricio also said that he was ready to move to the step where the two could understand their physical compatibility. He mentioned in a confessional interview:
"If I'm being honest I've wondered about when we'll have s*x.and how long should we wait before doing so."
Maria shared her hopes about their relationship and strengthening their bond at the romantic getaway in Mexico. She continued:
"On this trip I'm really hoping that our physical connection will flourish, and become as strong as the emotional connection we've established."
Later in the episode, Mauricio discussed that he was sure about his relationship but Maria wasn't his usual type. He told Santiago that he was a superficial person and that looks mattered to him until he signed up for the experiment. Santiago advised him to "work through" this.
