"We talk for hours"— Love Is Blind Brittany opens up about her renewed bond with Leo

Netflix's hit dating show Love Is Blind premiered its seventh season on October 2, 2024. One couple, Leo and Brittany, got engaged in the pods but weren't featured further. A title card later revealed their journey wasn’t followed, and the two had since broken up.

The show released the reunion episode on October 30, 2024, in which the former couple made an appearance. While the two clarified that they were not indeed in a relationship, Brittany shared that since their breakup, she realized how deep Leo's feelings were towards her and both have since become good friends.

"My friends love Leo. I love Leo. I think that's something no one really knows is we're very good friends now. We talk for hours," Brittany said.

Brittany shared Leo had some quirks that she didn't fancy on Love Is Blind reunion episode

When pushed further by the hosts, Nick and Vanessa Lachey, about her thoughts on why they broke up, Brittany said that after the show decided to axe them, they went on their own trip. According to her, traveling together can "make or break a relationship" as couples find more intimate details about each other. Brittany found some of Leo's quirks were not compatible with her needs, so they broke up.

Recalling one of the aforementioned quirks, Brittany revealed that Leo had a habit of taking a sip out of her drinks which irked her.

"We would have the same Martini and he would just take a sip of mine. And I'm like, 'Leo, you have your own,'" Brittany said.

Leo clarified that he loved sharing food and drinks with people close to him but understood that might not have been ideal for Brittany. He later explained that as things moved on, the Love Is Blind participants both realized that they were better suited to be friends.

When prompted by the hosts, Brittany shared in the reunion episode that she was dating someone in the real world while Leo was still searching for someone. According to Tudum By Netflix, Brittany has been going out with her current partner “for a while” now. She even refers to the new boyfriend as “Leo 2.0.”

Brittany shared that her current boyfriend, a businessman, provides stability unlike her past "wild child" relationships, and she hopes to find lasting love. Leo, meanwhile, said the show changed his perspective on love. After filming, he moved to New York, deepened his Jewish faith, and expressed a desire to find a partner with similar beliefs.

Moreover, he felt he had to do some self-reflection after his time on the pods of Love Is Blind, regarding his ego. Leo revealed that after watching the show, he realized that unexpectedly he had a lot of ego which "got shattered" after the breakup. Leo also connected with Hannah during his time on the show and expressed that he "couldn't trust her".
