Season 7 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days released its latest episode on Sunday, September 29, 2024. The segment featured Brian trying to convince Ingrid that he had moved away from his troubled past.
In the previous episode, he revealed that he used to be a drug dealer and was incurably wounded by goons hired by his then-wife. The confession shocked Ingrid, who debated introducing someone with such a background to her son. She was even more surprised when she discovered that Brian was 51 and not 45.
Brian preached his innocence to Ingrid in episode 5, but the latter confessed she needed time to process everything she learned about him. As a result, she refused to introduce him to her son. Although the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star's decision hurt Brian, he refused to sit idle.
Later, he drove to Ingrid's residence with a bouquet of roses and toys for her son. The gesture melted Ingrid's heart and she welcomed him to meet her son. Although she appreciated his efforts, she confessed it did not erase everything she heard about him. She claimed they had a long road ahead of them.
90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star Brian requested Ingrid not to judge him for his past
Brian and Ingrid went to an ice cream parlor after their heavy conversation about the former's past. After they settled, Brian said he felt that Ingrid was being judgemental of his past. In episode 4, Ingrid told him that he stopped dealing drugs only because he could not walk. The statement offended Brian.
"Stop. That hurt me," he said.
In episode 5, the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star reassured Ingrid that he would never deal drugs. With that said, he hoped he could stop by her house later and meet her son. However, Ingrid rejected his plea. She said she needed "more time" to process everything. Although Brian did not say anything to her, he confessed his disappointment before the cameras. He felt Ingrid took "a step back," which was "not a good sign."
"I realize Brian is being honest, but my mind is very confused. I have to think more before introducing someone to my children as a partner," Ingrid stated.
She added that she expected an apology from Brian for hiding his past, but received none. It made her question her decision to want to build a future with him.
Despite everything, Brian was not discouraged. He decided to make it up to the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star by surprising her with a bouquet. As night fell, he reached Ingrid's residence and asked her to come out. Ingrid was pleased to see that Brian got her roses, however, her happiness grew when she saw he brought presents for her son as well.
"I love the flowers. I love roses. But I got emotional when I saw he brought gifts for my children. It was nice, very nice attitude," Ingrid confessed.
She invited Brian to meet her son, Arthur, to give him a chance to redeem himself. The male cast member struggled to enter the house in his wheelchair but ultimately did with Ingrid's help. He immediately connected with Arthur, impressing Ingrid.
The 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days cast member spent his time bonding and playing with Arthur. While speaking to the cameras, Brian admitted he made the right choice by visiting Ingrid because he realized she and her son could one day become his family.
On the other hand, despite his compatibility with Arthur, Ingrid confessed it was not enough to "erase what Brian did."
