Well-known comedian Christina Pazsitzky has recently announced her breast cancer diagnosis as she appeared in an episode of Your Mom's House alongside her husband Tom Segura on July 31, 2024. The podcaster has struggled with many other health problems over the years and once had an Ozempic overdose for weight loss.
In the latest episode of the comedy podcast, Pazsitzky revealed her cancer by saying,
"I have very, very early stage breast cancer. It's totally treatable. The prognosis is very good. I will not die. This is not my last summer on earth. It's highly treatable, I'm gonna be fine."
Apart from this, Christina Pazsitzky and Tom Segura opened up on their relationship, saying that they have supported each other during the most difficult phases of their lives, including when a family member passed away. Christina additionally stated that she would try to host the podcast as long as she can.
Although she has been diagnosed with cancer, Christina appeared in her usual form, as she does while hosting the podcast. She requested the audience to avoid sending messages about defeating cancer, adding that it is something that should not be done in the situation she is dealing with today. She continued,
"I don't want it to become my identity. I don't want to have to do the Instagram posts of me in a hospital gown with thumbs up and then get your monograms ladies."
Christina Pazsitzky spoke up on her Ozempic overdose earlier this year
Back in April 2024, Christina Pazsitzky disclosed in Your Mom's House that she was once advised to take Ozempic to work on her weight loss but ended up consuming a high dose. She explained the experience by saying,
"The doctor goes, 'You know what, since you ate right through it last time, I'm going to start you on a higher dose. And I'm like, Alright, fair enough. I'm a pig."
The Where My Moms At? host said that she was initially told to take 10 units of Ozempic. However, she started having trouble when she went for dinner with her friends after taking the injection. Christina stated that her mouth became dry and could not eat anything. She further stated,
"I wake up in the middle of the night, like, super nauseous. I'm like, 'This is working this time. I'm down, like, 3 lbs.'"
Pazsitzky revealed she began feeling hungry at the time and later met a friend, who was also a nurse, to understand better about the Ozempic dose she was taking. While she told her friend that she was taking five units, the latter told her she had taken 50 units.
