Love is Blind UK aired episodes 10 and 11 on Wednesday, which marked the end of the Netflix social experiment. While some cast members found love while on the show, others dealt with heartbreak after being left at the altar.

For Catherine and Freddie, it was the latter, as the male cast member said no at the altar. Ahead of the wedding, he expressed concerns about his fiancée's behavior and discussed the upcoming decision with his sister. Following his sister's advice to stay true to himself, Freddie told Catherine he couldn't marry her.

However, later in the episode, he spoke to the female cast member and told her he still loved her and that he wanted to continue being with her. Catherine, however, was unsure about still wanting to be with Freddie.

Freddie says no at the altar but still wants to try to make things work with Catherine after Love is Blind UK

In the Love is Blind UK finale, Freddie and Catherine arrived at their wedding location where the latter saw a note her fiancé had left for her. In the note, Freddie told the Netflix star he brought her a gift that matched her dress.

Catherine appreciated the gift and told her friends that it gave her "reassurance" about her future with Freddie. While talking to the cameras, she explained why she needed reassurance.

"My birth mom gave me up. She kind of rejected me. I think it emotionally damages you growing up, you know? You always have maybe that fear of rejection. So my expectations for reassurance is massive," Catherine said.

While she was certain about wanting to marry the cast member, Freddie seemed torn and discussed the matter with his family members. The Love is Blind UK star's sister asked him if he was sure and told him she felt "complete mixed emotions." She added that she wanted to be honest with him but didn't want it to influence his decision.

"I do worry that you are on different pages. She's a lovely girl. I don't know. She's just different to you," she said.

Later, the Love is Blind UK cast member spoke to Catherine's parents and told them he still wanted her in his life and have a future together. However, when he told Catherine about the same, she said she was uncertain whether she still wanted to be with him.
